I toured A Touch of Home Assisted Living. The people seemed to like it there, but it was pretty much a dump. The deck isn't safe because the wood is not level. So if someone isn't sure on their feet, they could trip. Then they have walking trails and it's all dirt. So you have to be stable to be able to go out and walk. It's a small house with nine bedrooms. You get from your bedroom to the living room to the kitchen, not much opportunity for movement considering outside is kind of dangerous to be in, but people love it there. It just wasn't for my mom. It's expensive for what you got. The rooms were tiny. It was old. The upkeep in the bedrooms wasn't good, but the rest of the house looks pretty nice. The staff was very nice.
