The facility is just the right size to feel like a warm home, while being big enough for so many amenities. Unlike another facility we toured Alexis Pointe was bright and welcoming. Lots of warm color, friendly people, plants, real artwork, some by residents. The courtyard is a really nice place and includes a community garden as well as residents’ plants. My dad and I toured Alexis Pointe with Rose. She was a super friendly, knowledgeable and patient guide. We saw everything at a slow pace, even a couple’s room! The facility is just the right size to feel like a warm home, while being big enough for so many amenities. Unlike another facility we toured Alexis Pointe was bright and welcoming. Lots of warm color, friendly people, plants, real artwork, some by residents. The courtyard is a really nice place and includes a community garden as well as residents’ plants. The many in-house activities coupled with Wimberley field trips make for a lively living experience. Of course the three levels (options) for care are tailored to what a resident needs. I hope my dad can go when there’s an opening; and I’d like to live there when it’s my time. Highly recommended. Call Katy, who is extremely friendly, professional and helpful, to arrange a tour. You’ll be pleased!
My FIL just signed a lease at Alexis Pointe, and from start to finish, Ms. Sherrean Jones, Mrs. Michelle Sandoval, the bubbly staff nurse Monique, and Christy, Dad’s new “Wellness Director” walked us through every step and took away all of the anxiety we had created in our minds. Up until 2 weeks ago we were terrified of putting Dad in a “nursing home” because of previous experiences with rehab facilities and just how clinical, sterilized, and “smelly” they always seem to be. We were blown away at this “assisted living home” and how comfortable and warm, not to mention clean and “not smelly”…

My FIL just signed a lease at Alexis Pointe, and from start to finish, Ms. Sherrean Jones, Mrs. Michelle Sandoval, the bubbly staff nurse Monique, and Christy, Dad’s new “Wellness Director” walked us through every step and took away all of the anxiety we had created in our minds. Up until 2 weeks ago we were terrified of putting Dad in a “nursing home” because of previous experiences with rehab facilities and just how clinical, sterilized, and “smelly” they always seem to be. We were blown away at this “assisted living home” and how comfortable and warm, not to mention clean and “not smelly” it has been at every visit. From the greeting at the front desk, to the friendly residents, the “energetic and friendly chef” that always stopped to say hi in the hallway and just made Dad feel welcome. Her mid-day coffee made “just for him” got a thumbs up from Dad as he always judges a place by their coffee! (i.e., church, our home, his favorite restaurants, etc.)😜 We just know Alexis Point is going to be a wonderful and caring home for him and a pleasant transition during a really tough time for our entire family. He moves in Tuesday, and we are actually excited and not sad any longer.
Alexis Pointe in Wimberley is welcoming and lovely. The residents are kind and engaged and it feels cozy, and just like home. Certainly book a tour with the amazing Tricia if you’re considering senior living for a loved one.

A beautiful dinning room, clean, spacious, artful. And seemed a nice group of residents enjoying lunch.
As an estate attorney, I have visited with numerous clients within their apartments at Alexis Pointe, as well as in other facilities in Hays County. Alexis Pointe is by far the best facility I have been in. The staff is friendly. The common areas are clean and decorated with the intention to create a homelike feel. I like the meal options for a prepared meal or cooking for oneself. The activities are varied and plentiful. I am certainly considering Alexis Pointe for my advanced years.
Alexis Pointe has the most professional and best trained personnel you will ever find! The care they demonstrate for the residents is second to none!
Everyone is very caring and professional.
