Army Residence Community

Before moving to The Army Residence Community, we toured seven other like facilities from Florida to Texas. This community is by far the best value for the money spent than the others we visited. The staff is first class, the food is the best we have found in like facilities, the variety of living options from apartments to condos of various types, offers residents many options to call home. My husband is in the nursing section of the ARC. The staff is friendly and helpful, they've been very conscientious in taking care of him. When he first got there, he wasn't eating anything but now he has been eating a little bit more. His room is very clean. They have activities for the residents, but my husband hasn't participated because he's not capable of doing any of the activities. This is a retirement community for retired military people.

My loved one lived here for a while. He had friends and was very happy here. Unfortunately they were very expensive, and as care needs increased, we found that it was no longer something we could afford. It was a beautiful facility, a really good place. We later found out that we could have stayed and they would have never kicked him out, they have programs set up for that.
