We took my father here and have been so impressed from the very beginning. The staff here is incredible! So kind and caring and helpful. The first day was really hard for my dad of course, but the nurses helped him feel settled and safe. He has made friends and is enjoying his new life in his new home. We couldn’t be happier!
One star only because I cannot leave 0. I truly believe this place killed my father. When I saw him last at the hospital he was in good spirits, talking.. laughing even. Then he was transferred here to the rehab. Over medicated. Confused. Unable to communicate. He deteriorated quickly. His bottom dentures broke and no one was in a hurry to fix them.. unable to eat. Less than two weeks he was on an ambulance back to emergency where he died right off the ambulance! At one point they called to say they found him on the floor! Do not leave your loved ones here! This place is trash! We regret ever…

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The conditions here are absolutely terrible, and no one should ever subject their loved ones to such neglect. The building itself is filthy and poorly maintained, with patients left in unsafe and unsanitary environments. The nurses are shockingly inattentive they sit around doing nothing while residents wait for hours for basic needs like help with the bathroom, meals, or medications. Many patients are ignored completely, and it’s clear that compassion and proper care are not priorities here. The staff is unprofessional, untrained, and downright…

Many patients are ignored completely, and it’s clear that compassion and proper care are not priorities here. The staff is unprofessional, untrained, and downright rude. Instead of showing care or respect, they act bothered by even the simplest requests. I’ve seen residents treated with complete disregard, as if they’re a burden rather than people who deserve dignity and kindness. This facility should be investigated for neglect. If you care about your family, do NOT bring them here. It’s heartbreaking to think of anyone’s loved one suffering in these conditions.
This is a great place to work at this place as a great team of people
First of all I want to say thanks to Samantha she gave me a tour before making the decision on putting my 80 year old mom on memory care I have to say the place before Ashford was not the best we got blessed finding this facility in Irving. There is a lots of care givers from different countries which I love it my mom does not speak English and now is much easy for her to communicate and if for some reason one of them is off they call me right away to help I have a lots of good things to say like how the care givers treat our lovely older people I go there every day and leave happy because I know my mom is in good hands. I seen some bad reviews about dippers all I can say is sometimes the care givers are overwhelmed and is hard to keep everyone clean at the same time thank you Ashford facility me and my family cannot be more happy to have my mom there.
Overall it’s a ok place My mother has been here 9yrs minus 1yr during COVID we took her out for a year in 2020 because we didn’t want to loose her but soon as the vaccines were available we got her vaccinated and put her back in that 2021 she likes the place and says staff should be a little more nicer and that they need some new cooks in the kitchen but other than that it’s ok!
I come 3 days a week to visit my grandma. Everytime food is cold. Today she was suppose to have sautéed pepper and onions. Look what she was given. Is it cooked? What is it? Frustrating!
Staff here is very helpful and friendly
