Great smaller facility for better individualized care with caring staff that have a lot of experience. Each resident has their own room with bathroom. Activities included every week that are engaging and fun. Facility is excellently run with attention to detail. Dont pass on this place!
We toured Bedford Residence Assisted Living. It's a nice community. It's gated. You have to have a passcode to get in. The staff was very professional. They're very good at what they do. The food was good.
It's hard to get any staff to respond to a phone I'm out of town my mom is in there I'm trying to check on her blood sugar which I'm no longer getting on my dexcom so she was afraid it was dropping too low at night so I wanted to let them know thatcall. It's not good at the nurses station on their phones
Rooms are nicely sized. It's not a very big place, but this means that the staff to resident ratio is excellent. I visit my mom every week and she is always clean, fed, and seems to generally be very well cared for. Because it isn't a big facility if you have to arrange transportation there isn't a shuttle service or anything like that. They're monthly fees are very reasonable at the level of care they provide. My mom is ambulatory and diminished capacity, and the care she is provided at Bedford makes me feel good that she is there.
My Mom has been at Bedford for over a year . The owners , Dee and AK treat the residents like family. They’re giving, tender hearts, recruit the most wonderful caretakers. My mom has been at other group homes, and nothing compares to the level of care she gets here . Her hair is always brushed , she is clean , her room and all the facilities are clean and Mom is happy . That is what matters the most! I cannot say enough about the fabulous staff at Bedford .
They had canned soup and a sandwich every day for lunch. Some Staff did not speak much with residents and often belittled them for being too heavy or messing in their diaper..staff did not respond to requests of my friend for simple things. There were No activities offered. When I spoke to Director about issues ... she would get angry. She did nothing to make changes. Not a place I would ever recommend. More reasons than above mentioned
Just in need of some kind conversation. There isn’t any real interactions or listening to patients . There isn’t activities or social care . It is basic , very very basic physical care
Bedford Residence is a good caring facility. Staff does not have a lot of turnover but sometimes hard to communicate with. Most Residents are in advanced state of need but are well cared for. It is a smaller facility which is also worth mentioning. Residents get more attention that way. I would absolutely recommend Bedford Residence to other families looking.
