Where to start? I’ve been popping in and out of this building for the last five years, and I honestly couldn’t appreciate the staff more. Communicating with the Wellness Director, Angela, and the Memory Care Director, Gabby, has always been a breeze. These two genuinely love and care for their residents—like the kind of care you’d give your own parents. Full disclosure: my all-time favorite resident lived here. The team was wonderful, kind, and always accommodating to him (and to me, by extension). I’ve recommended this place to close friends, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a…

The team was wonderful, kind, and always accommodating to him (and to me, by extension). I’ve recommended this place to close friends, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a lively assisted living community with a rock-solid wellness team. Oh, and here’s something rare in senior living—they don’t have much turnover. And let’s not forget the fun! They host fantastic events—case in point, their Brisket Tasting event was chef’s kiss (photo attached).
This place is the best...thank you for everything 🤪🤪
It looked good from outside. Staff appeared friendly, but professional.
This place is very good at first impressions and appearances. Also if you have left your family in their care they will send you pictures and all kinds of beautiful messages. But once you’re family member becomes a regular they are treated sub par and no longer special. There are diamonds in the rough like the enrichment leaders who really care but their boss runs memory care and does a poor job. The place is run on favoritism and making the place look as good as possible for first appearances. But when all the families go home your loved ones are loved and cared for but not by the people that make a show when you come, it’s the ones focusing on the residents and truly engaging with them, those are the real ones. And I guarantee you none of them work behind a computer in the safety of their closet offices. Do not bring your loved one here.
My dad is still at Belmont Village West Lake Hills. The flavors of their food are fine, and the presentation is okay. He said he likes the food. I've eaten lots of different things on the menu, but I think it's very overpriced for people who are outside of the community. The place looks great most of the time. It's mostly very tidy and clean. With regard to the staff, my dad thinks it's taking them forever to respond. But usually, they're pretty quick to meet with them. They're very accommodating, too. For activities, I would like a few more options. But Dad doesn't like to do any activities.
5 for all. We lost mom in November and could not have been better supported and loved and cared for until the end. I never felt any anxiety as I left the parking lot after a visit. I absolutely trusted them to take as good care if not better than I could have myself. I think the value for the money is absolutely key. It is pretty expensive, but she was 100% a member of a family there and all of the caregivers and medical staff cared for her like a mother or grandmother from sitting with her when she got scared to rubbing her hands or face with lotion to having private jokes with her. She felt so loved and so safe.
Wonderful staff, they care deeply about the residents, very nice folks all around. Would definitely recommend.
Belmont was a Godsend. They were so caring and kind. All staff members would address my Mom by name, from day 1. Pretty amazing. It was a happy place.
