This Belmont is incredible. We had my father at a larger community where it felt like he was just a number with very difficult customer service. The Belmont completely changes the game. Beautiful facility with great energy and a wonderful caring staff. They customized a plan that was perfect for my dad... with dr., hospital and hospice partners that made the whole process seamless. Highly recommend this place! Thanks to Lisa, Lexi and the whole team.
Dining Room visit Nice to have lunch with friends. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Clean presentation of room and hall.
On multiple occasions, I have observed or experienced situations in which residents did not receive a compassionate attention from a nurse named Odu . In particular, there have been instances where she appeared visibly frustrated or unwilling to respond to calls for help with a good attitude. This type of behavior creates an environment that feels uncomfortable and does not reflect the level of care and respect that residents deserve. It is especially concerning that interactions between staff and residents have, at times, come across as dismissive and lacking patience. Residents in assisted…
On multiple occasions, I have observed or experienced situations in which residents did not receive a compassionate attention from a nurse named Odu . This type of behavior creates an environment that feels uncomfortable and does not reflect the level of care and respect that residents deserve. It is especially concerning that interactions between staff and residents have, at times, come across as dismissive and lacking patience. Residents in assisted living settings depend on nurses and caregivers not only for physical support but also for emotional reassurance, dignity, and respect. I have to say not all nurses or med techs are like this they are some wonderful persons here like Sandy, Anggie, Marcus and nurses that are always around to clean others mess around and that truly shows their love and compassion for residents. Hopefully admin can take care of some of their employees behavior.
We visited Belmont Senior Living of West University and spoke with Community Relations Manager, Lexi Hicks. We were impressed with the level of staff engagement and energy, both with residents and among other staff. The programs are very tailored to the needs of each individual resident, which helps give you assurance that your loved one will be given the care and attention they deserve. The outdoor spaces, including walking paths, grassy areas, and various seating areas, were a bonus when compared to others we visited. Lexi was candid and thorough as she explained how Belmont works, from care levels to dining to the daily routine. All VERY helpful! Thanks for the time and attention that contributed to a positive impression!
Do not trust this company. They do not care about their residents, and they care even less about their staff.
The Belmont staff have been extremely helpful & accommodating in meeting our needs for my Mom & her grandson. Their assistance in helping her & her grandson make a move was more than we could expect. They were there for us every step in the process and worked beyond and above what was required. This recent move has been a blessing to both my mom and my nephew. Thank you Belmont for making this move happen for the both of them. It was an A+ transition and would not have happened without your generosity of time, talent and kindness during this process!
In Jan 2025, I was told by the weekend acting executive director, that male employees were not required to knock first prior to entering female resident’s rooms in assisted living. Hopefully, that practice has been discontinued.
Our experience has been one of caring for our family member going above and beyond by the Director and his team. The review from Mary Compton, where men are allowed to come and go, is absolutely false. We have reported the review to Google as such. She has never been to the community to see her sister. Our family apologizes to the Belmont on behalf of Mary Compton.
