Love visiting this facility. Everyone is always smiling, both residents and employees. Has such a great energy!
I’ve been a clinician for 20 years and rarely have I seen the type of care these patients receive. The staff is enthusiastic about what they do. I would not hesitate to place a loved one in their care.
This is a delightful, heartwarming facility. Clean, friendly, with many tenured staff who smile and know the residents and their families. I love visiting Bluebonnet Nursing and Rehabilitation.
I had the pleasure of accepting the Director of Rehab position at Bluebonnet N&R back in July of this year. I’ve worked here over 3 months and absolutely love the facility, residents and staff. I appreciate that nursing and therapy work together to provide quality care for our residents. This facility is special because we genuinely love our residents. We do our absolute best to provide quality customer service, care and support to our residents and their families. The facility is clean and the food is great. This skilled nursing facility is by far one of the best that I’ve worked at in my 13 years as a therapist. Our therapy department specializes in rehab to home. Our goal is to help our patients regain their strength and increase their independence so that they are able to return to home. This is the first time in years that I love coming to work. I hope that Bluebonnet gets the positive recognition that it deserves moving forward.
We have been looking for a nursing home for our son since the one he was in has had the quality of care decreasing for some time. Bluebonnet in Karnes City was recommended by someone who had their father there until he died. We went to tour the facility with David Sczepanik, who took us on a tour and we were very impressed with the cleanliness, home like atmosphere and general care of the residents. We had a previous history with David when he was the administrator of the home where our son was previously living. We toured on a Wednesday and transferred the following Monday. As long as David Sczepanik is in charge of this facility, we know our son will be well taken care of.
Under new management with Creative Solutions, a new adminstrator, and DON. Making changes with positive goals in mind. Making Bluebonnet the place to be.
Our family member fell, with injuries requiring further rehab after hospitalization. We are very happy with care we are receiving at Bluebonnet. Building is clean. Residents appear well cared for. Staff is friendly, happy, and attentive, with a 'can do' attitude (including the administrator). Therapies (OT and PT) are impressive with their skills and attention to the residents.
