Brazos Healthcare is an amazing facility! The building is always clean and you can tell the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work. Every room and common area is clean, fresh, and well cared for.The care provided is excellent as well. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly cares about the residents' well being. It's wonderful to see a team that works so hard to keep both the facility beautiful and the residents happy.
I did my research on nursing homes before choosing this one for our loved one. The reviews and the website for Brazos Healthcare were about as misleading as they come. I highly recommend that you visit this place prior to making your decision as it looks absolutely nothing like the website shows. It is dirty, the smell is awful and the staff was as cold as they come. The living conditions were awful. There is no additional seating for family members if you visit. We had to go find our own chair in the dining area for our elderly dad to sit and visit with his brother. Luckily, our loved one…

We had to go find our own chair in the dining area for our elderly dad to sit and visit with his brother. Luckily, our loved one never had to encounter the dining area because the short second we were in there, it was awful. Our loved one was only at this facility for 2 days and that’s only because that was as fast as I could find somewhere else for him to be placed. We paid up front for his stay back in June and have still not received a refund. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this place.
Brazos Healthcare has an amazing therapy team. Time and time again patients have came in a wheelchair and left walking out the front door back to independence. All of the departments work together as a team to make sure residents get the best care available.
Kristi Lawson was very informative from the time I walked in she made me feel very comfortable and showed me all around and introduced me to a few people… I left there not in tears as we are making big changes that have not come easy to our family… she continues to reach out weekly to check in.. making sure if we need anything just let her know. I think we will have a long standing relationship as my husband transitions into long term care.
The staff and administration go above and beyond to give great customer service. The staff provides amazing care.
It's a great place, I serve clients, Shauna ,Josh, Kali, to name a few, and several of the other staff does an exceptional job,They are awesome here!!
Everybody from the Administrator to the Housekeepers have been very nice, helpful and polite. Nursing staff does what they can to take care of my husband. The stay here has been great. I'm also thankful for them trying to help us stay here longer.
I'd give it a minus if possible. THE NURSES ARE JUST THERE TO COLLECT A PAYCHECK!!!!! They could careless about your loved ones, they're rude,NEVER ,come by to check on patients, and get an attitude if you ask them a SECOND time for the pain meds you asked for almost 2 hours for. My dad has to be taken outta bed by a lift and 3 nurses decides to try themselves and tore the skin on my dad's arm all up. If you aren't going up to visit your loved one daily,DONT LET THEM END UP THERE!!!!!!!
