Brookdale Club Hill

My mom moved to Brookdale Club Hill in March of 2026. She is so happy in her new environment. Her apartment is spacious and clean. The balcony outside of her apartment gives her a perfect spot to enjoy her morning coffee. The activity director is outstanding at his job. Before moving to Club Hill, my mom was a bit lonely. Now, I can't keep up with her social calendar. The food at Club Hill is excellent. I am impressed with the quality and variety of the meals served. I no longer worry that she is not eating. Everyone that works at Brookdale Club Hill seems to enjoy their job. My mom is treated with kindness and respect. In addition, I am appreciative of the assistance I get from the staff every time I have a question or need help with paperwork. The grounds at Club Hill are lovely. I feel that my mom is safe walking around the grounds. The water fountains, fish and ducks are a nice bonus. My mom often tells me that she feels so blessed. Club Hill is a big part of that blessing. If you are checking out Assisted Living facilities for your loved one, I would recommend seeing Club Hill after you have viewed a few others first. I think you will easily see how this facility rises above the rest.

I have had quite a bit of experience with Brookdale‘s throughout the country and this is by far one of the best that I have encountered. My mother-in-law is in the independent living section of Brookdale in Garland and it is fabulous. They are always willing to help her and the dining hall has very good food and there is always an excess of activities going on within the community of Brookdale. I have nothing negative to say about this facility only extreme praise.

All smiles and nice when you first move in, but after my FIL passed away they took 3k+ from his estate a month after we had cleared his apartment. They insist you set up auto pay for the monthly rent. We cannot get anyone to call us back not Deidra or Laura. It’s been two weeks and we need the money to pay the bills on his house. Update: got a check back from them BUT it’s made out to the estate of …. So bank won’t deposit it. And Brookdale is checking to see if they can write a new check; not sure why they can’t put the money back the same way they took it out. Why didn’t they close out his account? There is no excuse, it is THEFT.

I looked at a very lovely apartment in Brookdale Club Hill. I just don't have that kind of money to do it on a regular monthly basis. The apartment that I saw had its own stove and things like that. I couldn't say there was anything that I didn't like. Everybody there was very courteous, polite, and friendly. They fed me lunch, showed me the facilities, and we talked with some of the residents who were there. We talked with the activities and driver type person. It was very pleasant. I talked to two different ladies, and they were very friendly and very polite. Everything I had was great. The service staff was very polite, courteous, and friendly. The dining room was friendly, clean, and spacious. They had a couple of areas where you could sit with family, or if you had a group gathering. I didn't see anything that was bad, drastic, or wrong. There were spots where you could see dings in the handrails and stuff going from room to room, but you got people going through with scooters and the walkers, and to me, that's to be expected. It wasn't expensive, it was just somewhat out of my budget at the moment.

I love the trees and my patio. The property is very pretty. They have an awesome crafting center, ceramics, stained glass, painting, quilting and so much more. Everyone is very friendly. Yes, I would recommend Brookdale Club Hill to other families
