My grandmother lived at Brookdale Galleria for many years and always spoke highly of the staff and facility, so I was glad to see that same quality firsthand on my recent tour. The staff member I met with was welcoming and knowledgeable, and took real time to answer my questions. The community feels active, clean, and well-run, with a strong focus on safety, social connection, and residents' quality of life.

ABSOLUTELY under no circumstances, should you leave a loved one under the care of Brookdale in the Galleria. Now that my father is gone, I'm learning that they are being sued for neglect, understaffing, and poor care. Simply google "Why is Brookdale being sued?" I plan on reporting them to the State as well but essentially they kept my Dad as if it were a Covid lockdown. They wouldn't give us a release date claiming he wasn't strong enough. The social worker Bajalang Baldeh is the individual making these decisions for some reason and the entire time we knew this was a Medicare billing game. I…

I told her we wanted him at home where we would pay for private care but she just kept acting like he couldn't be released and that when she deemed the time was right, we could do private care at home. I ultimately suspected this was to keep him as long as Medicare would pay for this substandard facility because Medicare is not going to let a REAL skilled nursing facility like Encompass or TIRR keep a patient for weeks on end, especially when they aren't doing much to help the patient get better, let alone not bathing or cleaning his catheter. So my father had a doctor's appointment today and his catheter had never been cleaned and was infected with pus, and his outside urologist upon full medical exam said my father hadn't been bathed in at least a week. There are TOO many really good options in Houston, if you have to resort to a facility to care for your your parent or grandparent. Do not go anywhere near this one! Do not let the fact that it is in the Galleria and has a decent appearance upon entry fool you. There is a reason this place is being sued.

My client and I were visiting with a friend for dinner. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. I pray she decides to move there. We will visit her. Thank you Thomas and the dining staff for a delightful evening.

It's been a great experience for me I have a relative over there All the staff is friendly A lot of hard working people It's a great community I love the environment They take good care of elder people Plenty of parking spaces

I can only review about the first floor since my father was transferred here from a hospitalization. The first time I visited the room was dirty and my dad was complaining that he kept pressing the call button so they could change his diaper but no one would go. Once the nurse saw that I was there that’s when she was doing everything fast. Later on, I called the facility to schedule transportation for a doctor’s appointment since they called me saying they wanted to see him. I gave all the information to the nurse and she told me she would take care of it. Come the appointment day I was at the doctor’s office waiting for my dad to show up. Once I saw that he wasn’t showing up I called the facility to ask if he was on his way or where he was at. They wouldn’t even tell me if he was at the facility, they just hung up on me. I decided to contact the transportation and that’s when I found out that they didn’t schedule transportation for his appointment. When I was driving to the facility from the doctor’s office one of the directors called me trying to make it seem like it was my fault because “they like to schedule the doctor’s appointments.” I have POA over my father so the doctors call me for everything. Once at the facility the nurse never apologized to me for what she did. I decided to just take my father out of that place. A skilled nursing home is supposed to help us not stress us out.

My father came to Brookdale for rehab after a heart procedure. We had been given a list of places to choose from and after reviewing them on line and in person Brookdale was the obvious choice. The facility is pristine. There are plenty of staff, all eager to help. My father was given immediate and thorough attention and was discharged sooner than we expected, fully ready to go home! We are SO SO grateful!

Personal muy amable la señora Martha y el señor Carlos me dieron una excelente atención .

Everything was great, from valet to check into brunch
