We had my mom there for almost a year. During that time we had several incidents where we would go visit my mom and her bathroom was in horrible condition. Toliet was full of bowel movement all down the sides that you could tell it had been there for days. It was disgusting. We never saw the staff doing anything with the residents. They just had everyone in a room watching TV with staff sitting in corner of the room on their Personal phones. There was only 2 staff that the family felt comfortable with. They lost several pieces of clothing, socks, undergarments. We would find clothing in her…

They lost several pieces of clothing, socks, undergarments. We would find clothing in her closet that didn't belong to her. There was several incidents of my mom falling. Saw incident where a staff member handled my mom in the wrong way putting cream on her knees. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Brookdale has been bought out so let's hope the new company is better. Just glad my mom is out of that place.
My family’s experience with Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe has been deeply disappointing and, in my opinion, unacceptable. We were charged for personal care services that my mother‑in‑law did not receive. Over eight months, she lost ten pounds due to what we believe was neglect. Staff did not ensure she ate, and she was repeatedly left sitting in soiled clothing and bedding despite being billed for personal care. The facility appeared consistently understaffed, and many pieces of equipment were broken for long periods of time. Her closet door was pulled off its hinges multiple times and simply propped against the wall, creating a safety hazard. When it was finally replaced months later, the wrong door was installed upside down. The entrance door to her room was inoperable for at least six months, and the dryers were frequently broken. Communication around her medications was unclear and inconsistent. Their accounting cost her banking fees and unneccessary charges that should not have been incurred. We finally found a more affordable and caring place for her and gave the required 30 days notice. We received notice that they are going to draw funds out of her account for the next month anyway. She moved out 30 days ago...they are charging her for personal care (what?) and they are continuing to draft out of her account despite our notice to leave. (?!?!?!) Based on our experience, I do not feel this facility provided the care, safety, or professionalism that residents deserve. I would strongly encourage families to look elsewhere.
The staff here at Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe always greets me with a smile and is willing to do whatever it takes to help me feel at home. Without these people, life would have been difficult the last year and a half. The staff has never failed me.
There are so many opportunities to join in the community events OR you can create your own ideas. If you prefer to read, you can go out on the patio. They also have movies available and fitness classes. A little something for everyone.
We toured Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe. It was nice and clean and new-looking. The person who helped us there was very congenial, and I have nothing bad to say about it. It was just a wonderful experience. I always thought that if I ever had problems, I'd want to live here.
My brother has only been there a couple of weeks. So far he has already had two problems. Most importantly, they had given him a lanyard with a life alert pendant. When he used it in a COPD emergency, it took 10 minutes for them to show up WITHOUT any medical equipment. They had to go back downstairs to get it. He is also having trouble getting them to clean his apartment, which is one of the reasons he moved there since he can’t do it himself. There is very little storage. We had to go buy some plastic drawers so he had a place for his bathroom products.
I placed my mother in law at Brookdale Hamilton Wolfe because she has dementia and can't stay on her own. Hamilton Wolfe has a great staff who take great care of their patients. They are always checking up on their patients.
We felt like they honestly cared about our needs. When my brother arrived he was treated as if he was a family member. The residents introduced them self will instruction of what to do and where to go, and invitations to join them at different tables for dinner. They laughed and joked as if they were old friends. My brother loves it at Brookshire Hamilton Wolf.
