They go above and beyond to ensure residents receive the support they need while maintaining a warm, friendly atmosphere.
I want to give a special thanks to the fine, loving, and caring people at Brookdale Senior Living located in ROCKWALL, Texas. Kennedie, Tyler, and the entire staff gave my Father the warmest welcome we could hope for. Everyone there is top-notch, and have made this transition for my Father a very pleasant experience. I know my Father can be a tough nut to crack, but everyone there welcomed and reassured him with such love, kindness, and grace that it softened his heart and overall view on assisted living. For that I am truly grateful. Thank you again for making this experience so wonderful…

This afternoon, when I was at the community to lead the residents’ regular music therapy visit, I observed how caring Brittany at reception is with the residents and families. Brittany has a wonderful quality of a calm and a kind demeanor with everyone she speaks to. She takes the time to invite the residents to music therapy, working as a good team member with the Resident Engagement Director. It is quite clear that she cares, and notices the little things that mean so much to older adults.

My grandmother has lived at Summer Ridge in Rockwall for over a year now, and our family has been very happy with her experience there. The staff has always been kind, caring, and accommodating, and it’s clear they truly care about the residents. She stays active with the many activities offered throughout the day and has really enjoyed making friends while playing dominos and working on puzzles. The management and staff are friendly, attentive, and always make us feel welcome when we visit. Most importantly, we feel like our grandmother is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for at Summer Ridge. It gives our family peace of mind knowing she is in such a positive environment. We are very thankful for the love and care they show our beloved grandmother.

I've frequented this facility and noted its cleanliness and friendliness. I also want to highlight their activities and engagement led by Kayla which are second to none!
Brookdale Summer Ridge is a wonderful place for anyone’s loved one. The facility is clean anytime of the day I have visited and that is often. I am always greeted when I entered the building by Brittney , Deanne, Kennedie or Tyler with a smile. Kayla the activity director is constantly engaging the residents in activities. I can truly say I would not hesitate to refer my own family to Summer Ridge with confidence they would receive excellent care.
This place will take your money with easy kind words to get there commission. My mom kicked in two weeks of living there to make her move out over saying she wanted to kill the turtles in there scenic outdoor area for their clients to go out into. She had Alzheimer’s in UTI issues and they told me I had to have her out that day. No notice seemed like a really nice place. I still can’t believe they were the way they treated my mother.
