I moved my mom here recently. Every single staff member has been very kind and accommodating. It is a wonderful facility and i would highly recommend it to anyone.
All have been helpful and easy to work with. My dad sometimes complains about night staff but no one else is around- so who knows. My father is a difficult person to care for - definitely not a warm and fuzzy guy. But a few have won him over and they still give him great care despite his attitude. There's a good feeling when you walk into the building. Food kinda goes through phases that seem associated with staff turnover. My dad received a burned grilled cheese one night. Why would you even give that to someone? Nothing but a salad that was basically lettuce one night. My dad hasn't lost…

Why would you even give that to someone? Nothing but a salad that was basically lettuce one night. My dad hasn't lost his appetite so those times are frustrating. Also- my dad eats in his room. When they pick the tray up- if it wasn't eaten- maybe ask questions. You don't like burnt grilled cheese or you aren't hungry? Can I bring you a snack?

Unfortunately, my loved one passed before their placement could be seen through. The Director, Nurse, and majority of the staff we interacted with were phenomenal. The residents all were happy, the facility was the cleanest we had toured, and my loved one looked very forward to living there. From the little experience we had while visiting and touring, I'd absolutely recommend this facility.
It's nothing friendly about this place. The med tech on duty Cheryl Moore is very rude, unprofessional and condescending. She was cursing and carrying on. Unsure if she was having a bad day but, this is supposed to be a professional environment around our seniors.
So far it has been wonderful. Staff has been extremely caring and attentive. We came from an AI that I was quite unhappy with and I am finally starting to feel the know in my chest ease up. I was looking for a home for my dad that would allow him to smoke outside and they are set up for that with a lovely courtyard. When I went to visit- I liked it so much I never looked elsewhere.
The facility is clean and the staff is PHENOMENAL! They have answered all of my questions regarding our tour and provided details to help us make our decision for our loved one. I will recommend Brookdale to everyone I know for their loved ones. Thank you so much!
From the moment the front door is open you can feel the love! Literally. From the friendly greeting to the residents enjoying their time together in the beautiful common area. No which season or holiday season, it is always so beautifully festive! When residents are in their dining room, it's so lovey to hear to sound of good conversations with friends of good food. Food cooked with love tastes the best! The courtyard, the birds, the porch! Wonderful care. What more could you want for the ones you love the most!
