However, my husband and I visit a variety of nursing homes on a pretty regular basis (4-5 times a year) either in connection to our business or to drop off donations (magazines, etc). As a result we see many different nursing homes. Caraday of Lampasas ALWAYS stand out because the employees and residents seem so happy! Everyone is smiling, employees actually say “hi” and have eye contact. They thank us for stopping by. Residents are talkative. We’ve seen them dancing to live music, playing games. I am not a resident, nor do I have relatives who work or reside here. As a result we see many different nursing homes. Caraday of Lampasas ALWAYS stand out because the employees and residents seem so happy! Everyone is smiling, employees actually say “hi” and have eye contact. They thank us for stopping by. Residents are talkative. We’ve seen them dancing to live music, playing games. The facility is clean and does not smell. We do NOT see this at other local facilities. Caraday of Lampasas really stands out!
This is a building full of love and service. The employees deeply care for the residents and that shows in the care they receive. Great job Team CoL!
My mother stayed there for 2 weeks for respite care an she loved it they treated her with good care the nurses an kitchen staff did an awesome job

It's always a little intimidating starting a new job. I started as a nurse at Caraday about a month ago and of course had those typical first day nerves. That anxiety quickly dissipated after meeting my new coworkers and being introduced to the residents of Caraday. Every single person I've met has been kind, caring, and willing to answer any question I have. Like, literally, every single person. Fellow nurses, CNAs, kitchen staff, housekeeping, maintenance, management, etc. While I don't have a family member staying at Caraday, I would absolutely trust them to care for my loved ones ❤️
Putting my grandma in a nursing home was a hard decision but everyone at caraday has really made it a smooth transition. The staff is so caring and patience. I couldn't ask for better poeple to look after her when I'm not there.
Neglectful. They put up a “caring” act. If I could rate it 0, I would. It’s what they deserve. If you want to sleep good at night knowing your loved ones are cared for, reconsider this place. Food is good, but bedside manner and whoever runs this place needs to reconsider their career choice and their attitudes to residents and their families. The one star is for the food because thats ONE thing they can get right.
My mom has been at the Caraday of Lampasas for over 2 years now. In that time my mom has been give the best care. The staff has went out of their way to make sure I am happy with information pictures and videos when I can’t make it for a visit. Her health and wellbeing is clearly very important to them. They even take the time to make sure I am happy with the care as well. There are so many people who have went above and beyond I can’t even name them all here. I do not regret that we chose Caraday of Lampasas for my mom.
