We are coming from a 180 degree difference in many respects, but have only been here a couple weeks. Getting in- the staff was super good in showing me the place. Very accommodating in providing me an extensive tour and answering all my questions when shopping about. Very informative, thorough, and helpful in making the move in. Everyone we’ve met on the staff has been and continues to be great from any random caregiver to the Executive Director and the lady who arranged my rental. All interested in our satisfaction. My loved one says she feels as if she’d died and gone to heaven. I know…
We are coming from a 180 degree difference in many respects, but have only been here a couple weeks. I know these care teams have personal lives and endure a certain amount of stress, but so far, I have not had any issues with anyone here. When my loved one is happy, I know they are doing something right. It’s a nice place but what is so attractive is the care team involvement and all the activity time dedicated to the residents. Reasonably priced. Nice little secluded location off the road in the trees. Worth a look. I couldn’t be happier with it.
Great caregivers.
5 on everything! Carver Heights Estates is a great place, and she is very happy there.
The most amazing experience! The staff was very active in the care and love of their residents. The nurse staff was very attentive to their needs and wants. The residents loved the activities planned each day. We enjoyed visiting and sharing my mom's group of friends. I would place another member of my family in the same place if needed.
My mother-in-law moved into Carver Heights Estates Senior Living. It was a very clean, beautiful atmosphere. They had the room she wanted, which she wanted, a separation of bedroom and living area, and they were able to provide that. The staff seemed very nice and accommodating to all of her needs. I have not tried the food, but she hasn't had many complaints about it. They have activities all the time. She has participated in some. As for the value, it's a fair price.
I'm in Carver Heights Estates Senior Living for respite. They check on me maybe once or twice a day. They open my door and make sure I'm all right. I have pills that I take and I'm in charge of that. I also have some things I need to do due to diabetes, and they're not involved with that at all. It's well laid out and it's clean. It's a little older, but they've kept it up-to-date. I looked at a lot of different places before I chose them. There was a lot that it depressed you to go in there because it was rundown, and this is not like that at all. It's big, but it's not too big, and you can get around pretty easily on your own. They do their regular duties, but if you need help in anything they're more than willing to help. Their attitude is great and they try to make you feel welcome. They have daily activities with games and different crafts. They show a movie a week. There's something every day. We get a list of different things that are going to be there for that day. They also have exercise. They encourage people, if they can, to come out of their rooms. Others eat in the dining room for the three meals a day, and the others have it delivered to their room. The food is overall really good. I think they try to have some variety in it. You know ahead of time what it's going to be for the upcoming week, and they have substitutes that you can have instead of that meal that day. The substitutes don't change, but they don't encourage you to eat those substitute meals every day. To me, it's not as good as a regular meal. Some days it is a sandwich, but there are other things that come with it when it's part of their scheduled meal. I haven't seen anything that I really would criticize. They're human and they can make small mistakes, but they are very quick to correct them. The people that are here seem to be not upset. It's one of the most expensive places that I looked at, but it's also one of the best. I did see a couple of places that cost more, and they were not as good. Of all the ones I saw, this was the best one.
Carver Heights has a family friendly atmosphere. It is small which allows everyone to know everyone. The staff always have a smile on their faces and they have been working at Carver for many years. The location is a little secluded with woods all around. I would recommend to everyone.
They were subpar overall. I was concerned about the lack of basic hygiene on a daily basis that was provided
