4.6 · 26 reviewsI cannot say enough good things about Colonial Lodge in Terrell. Kayla, Elisha and Aaron made a difficult time easier than we could have imagined. Our 94-year-old mother moved in a couple of months ago and the administration plus the staff are the best. The day-to-day staff that are assisting our mother have been professional but also very caring. The residents there receive great care even on the weekend. I cannot name all of the staff but over the weekend we were not able to visit because of the bad weather; however, we were not concerned because we knew she was getting the care she needed…

I cannot say enough good things about Colonial Lodge in Terrell. Kayla, Elisha and Aaron made a difficult time easier than we could have imagined. Our 94-year-old mother moved in a couple of months ago and the administration plus the staff are the best. The day-to-day staff that are assisting our mother have been professional but also very caring. The residents there receive great care even on the weekend. I cannot name all of the staff but over the weekend we were not able to visit because of the bad weather; however, we were not concerned because we knew she was getting the care she needed by Ty, Jennifer and Diana. I wish I could name all of the staff from the nursing staff, the dining room staff and the housekeeping staff that have assisted our Mom. Everything we have asked has been dealt with professionally and with a smile. From the minute Mom moved in to now, we know this was the right decision.
We moved our mom in the day before Thanksgiving...it was a very hard decision and one my sister, brother and I found very difficult, but it has been the best decision. From day one Elisha, Kayla and Aaron have been great. It was like we had known them forever. Our mom has several friends out there so that has helped, but the staff Ty, Jennifer and Diana (I am sorry I can't name them all) have really been amazing. We moved our mom in the day before Thanksgiving...it was a very hard decision and one my sister, brother and I found very difficult, but it has been the best decision. From day one Elisha, Kayla and Aaron have been great. It was like we had known them forever. Our mom has several friends out there so that has helped, but the staff Ty, Jennifer and Diana (I am sorry I can't name them all) have really been amazing. Even the dining room staff, housekeeping and maintence are the best. They are ALL so sweet and take such good care of our mom. At 94 years old this has really been an adjustment but thanks to everyone at Colonial Lodge we are confident we made the right decision.

The staff is so kind and caring. I am comfortable knowing my Mom is happy and well cared for.
Colonial Lodge is amazing! We moved my parents in mid July. Gracie made everything go smoothly, from the initial tour to working with us for paperwork and move-in as well as answering endless questions. She remains available to us should we need to contact her. The staff is very caring and active in the residents' daily care. I am so thankful we found CL for my parents. It truly is a Godsend!
My aunt is at Colonial Lodge Assisted Living. We chose this because of its convenience and we like the staff. My aunt's apartment is very clean and nice. They have their own room, their own refrigerator, and microwave. They have a dining area, an exercise area, and a community room. The food is pretty good.
Salesperson- lied to us, there are no CNA's on duty. We didn't see nurses taking care of the residents either. The meals look good, the rooms are okay, some rooms have leaky toilets. Some showers stalls need replacing. A resident was asking us for a meal, but the young lady was busy working on a puzzle table. She's a caregiver, we will not be staying here.
