It’s great. Great location and staff. It’s just what our community needs. We just moved my mother in law in and she says the food is good. Highly recommended.

The dining room is terrible. Today August 8th I was waiting and waiting and waiting for breakfast to be served while everyone around me had their food. Finally after 45 minutes they brought me my breakfast. I would have 2nd thoughts about staying here. Maybe if you did not have to buy the food plan it would be ok

My parents have been residents in this community for 2 monrhs. I am regretting the decision to allow them to move into this community. They have experienced problems with maintenance requests being done in a timely manner (it took 3+ week to fix the tub). They have been unhappy with the dining facilities, staff, and food. If they do not like what is on the menu, then they must go back to their apartment and cook or go out to a restaurant. One of the pros for moving here was that 3 meals a day were provided as part of the rent, but when my parents don't eat the food that defeats the purpose…

One of the pros for moving here was that 3 meals a day were provided as part of the rent, but when my parents don't eat the food that defeats the purpose and makes us pay for food twice. Another pro for moving here was that someone would clean the apartment once each week. Housekeeping has only stopped by twice. Finally, I have just been notified that the community does not meet VA Pension requirements. So if you or your loved one is a veteran looking for a little help with senior living expenses, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I moved in the week before Thanksgiving 2024 and didn't have any furniture. The staff were very nice and provided me with a bed and recliner and a large tv. Everyone here is very nice and accommodating to my needs. They are very helpful and provide assistance and care if needed. I like the activities each day with bingo, cards and domino's . It's nice to have something available to do and it gives a chance to make new friends. The food is very good and we get three meals a day. Sometimes I ask for extra portions and they are able to let me have more to eat. Once again the staff is very friendly. If anyone is looking for a place I would highly recommend this community. You won't be disappointed.

Food is good.

I am Richard England, a retired board-certified Family Physician who has lived happily at Colony Village,an lIndependent lLiving Facility in Longview Texas. I moved to CV April 9 2024 and was instantly enamored with it.The other residents here are my new family and I have made several good friends here.In fact eat breakfast and lunch and ok supper with them .Next, the food at CV is restaurant quality and my health has improved by eating such nutritious and delicious meals !Next the staff at CV is top notch, from the General Manager,Henry Cartright .who is both capable and congenial, to Carrie , the very nice and good Sales Manager . Nextthe kitchen and housekeeping staff are absolutely essential for our daily lives and they seem like members of our collective CV family!Next we have many activities , such as Bingo( dairy except Sundays) ,dominos, dairy except Sundays .Next we go to doctors appointments in a CV bus , Tuesday .Wednesday and Thursdays .We can do our laundry in no cost washing machines and dryers .We have a movie theater that shows a movie at 6 pm dairy . Plus we have live entertainment twice a month

The amenities provided to a resident.. sheets, 2 sets of towels, toilet paper, trash bags for bathroom and kitchen. Room cleaned 1x weekly with sheets changed Full kitchen( refrigerator electric stove dish washer)and numerous cabinets. Bus service to doctors and ect places on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Weekly church service on Sunday and full beauty shop on Wednesday all day.

This place has wonderful staff and a great place for our mom. [name removed] is very pleasant and helpful. Very much recommended. This establishment has good transportation to transport residents to doctors appointments and Walmart, etc.
