The workers really care.... Your never going to find a perfect place but the people here truly care.

My husband and I are so very grateful and blessed to have found a place for my Dad. Tonya, Emery, Jennifer and Arthur have made this experience amazing. Also, the kitchen staff and housekeeper has really out done themselves. My Dad has a beautiful suite in Memory Care that he has truly fell in love with. This place and the awesome staff has changed our life and my Dad's in such a positive way. Thank you to everyone. Truly a God send. Thank you..

The best Assisted Living. They took good care of my Grandmother. E. Darty.

My Mother has been taken care of so good. And the workers are very qualified and caring. Now that the new renovations are almost complete, the place is very nice and classy.

My mother-in-law moved in here just over a month ago. They are the most caring people and treat their residents as family. She loves it there and we are so happy that she is happy.

Good place for your loved one. They really do care and try here. Head director Tonya and Head nurse Emery work hard to accommodate your loved one and their situation. The whole staff is wonderful and thoughtful. Highly recommend Country Side.

I toured Countryside Senior Living of Athens. I didn't like anything about it personally. It was rundown. I didn't see any nurses walking around. I didn't see any care at all. It was old, and it was not what I was expecting. They didn't look like they took care of anything. I was not happy with it, so I wouldn't put my mother, my sister, or anybody else in there. The structure of the building was bad. It's old and smelly, and it just didn't look clean. The layout wasn't too good. It had a living room. It had a bedroom, a bathroom, it had a little place for a little fridge, and a microwave. Other than that it wasn't too bad, but otherwise people were just sitting there and there was no help. I mean, literally the lady in the dining room was kind of helpful, but the lady that let me show me the room, she didn't even know I was coming. She had no clue.

Lakeland House was, at the time we used it, a bit dated, but clean. The staff was excellent. [Name removed] spent a lot of time with my mom and I couldn't ask for someone more caring and empathetic. The rest of the staff were also caring and a great group of professionals that were always very responsive to any request or needs. The intake process was pretty easy with no issues encountered. We actually had my moms room redecorated (new flooring and paint) before she moved in and it was ready on time. The facility was recommended to us by our best friends that had their father stay there before his passing a few years prior. They said the same things that I am saying now about Lakeland and, like them, I would definitely recommend them to another family.
