There is only so much I can convey via a Google review, but here it goes. My 93 year old mother with Alzheimer's had been thriving in assisted living for 4 years. One evening she eloped (escaped) the facility where she was living. I had to find a Memory Care facility where I could move her quickly. I found Cypress Assisted Living (CAL) through a lady who helps families. She called and set up a meeting for the same day. My siblings and I met with Frieda (Director) and Nellie (owner). From the moment we walked in and saw the caregivers interacting with each resident, we could see this was a special place. Our meeting went well and after two hours we decided to move forward with moving Mom to CAL. My siblings or I were there every day to see our Mom throughout her living at CAL. Every single interaction was positive. Watching the caregivers redirect a resident having a hard time or wanting to leave, was nothing short of beautiful. They are constantly motivating each resident with games to help with their memory and physical movement. (Betty is honestly the BEST, but all the caregivers are wonderful!) My Mom was very loving, but could be a pistol at times! They handled her with respect and care at all times. Unfortunately, she had a stroke and needed Hospice care until end of life. When I spoke to Nelly about our options, she said they would love to have Mom back there with the caregivers she knew until her transition. So, that's what we did. In four days, I saw my Mom loved on and cared for better than I could have done here at my home. She was prayed over, talked to and kept clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a memory care facility for your loved one, you will not have to look any further after seeing CAL.

“I visited Cypress Assisted Living as a mobile notary and had a wonderful experience. The facility felt peaceful and well cared for. Frieda, the director, was very kind and helpful, making the entire process easy and comfortable when I needed help to find a witness. Definitely a great environment with caring staff. After visiting several assisted living facilities, I chose this one because it is clean, safe, and has a caring, professional staff. They guide you through every step and truly look after the residents. My dad is well taken care of, his medications are managed properly, and refills are handled on time, which gives our family peace of mind. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care.

This place is great on paper. It is clean. But it's the things they don't highlight on the tour that concern me. The workers look stressed and unhappy almost as if they are operating under duress. Managers seem more concerned with keeping up appearances. You can tell a lot by the way management interacts with workers and how the workers in turn interact with the residents. There is no warmth and care in the interaction. It's a job to be done and there are rules to follow. And the worst part is you can see it in emptiness and sadness on the residents' faces.

A nice, beautiful, and friendly atmosphere. A very, helpful, and caring staff. Betty provided plenty of activities for the residents to participate and enjoy. Rooms are a good size and clean. A nice place to be.

Our experience with this assisted living community has been nothing short of exceptional. They have truly given our parents a comfortable, stress-free lifestyle with platinum-level service. Every detail of care is handled with warmth and professionalism, making us feel at peace knowing they are in such good hands. Special thanks to Nelly, whose dedication, compassion, and outstanding work have made all the difference. She goes above and beyond every day, and we are deeply grateful to have someone who cares, loves beyond compassion, and dedication to make my parents comfortable. Highly recommend this place to any family seeking the best for their loved ones in our cypress community and houston texas.

My mom and dad had lived with me for 10 years when suddenly my mom took a fall that left me unable to care for her. My dad had Alzheimer’s but was physically able to care for himself with guidance. A year earlier I had met Troy Williams of Oasis Senior Advisors and through his guidance and support I chose Cypress Assisted Living for my parents. Neither of them wanted to leave “our” home, but my mom required lots of help because she had no use of her legs and neither of my parents could remember that she couldn’t walk. I was not an easy client as my expectations were extremely high. The executive team was very patient with me and loving of my parents. The staff was kind and patient, they laughed with my parents…my mom was happier at CAL than I believe she was at home. She didn’t realize how much she missed the social aspect of life. We had as good an experience as possible with our move. My parents became my children and it was very hard for me to let go, in time I did. I let the CAL staff do what they were trained to do…care for my parents, and they did. They loved them in every way that they could. Thank you, Nelly, for a professional and loving environment. I am so grateful to you all. Nancy H

Cypress Senior Living – 17801 West Rd, Houston, TX 77095 This morning, I had the pleasure of visiting Cypress Senior Living on West Road, and I must say it’s a truly impressive facility. The location is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and has a welcoming, calm charm—perfect for senior residents. The management team was professional and friendly, ensuring a safe environment not only for residents but also for staff and visiting vendors. I appreciated the extra touches—like the mobile van service available on-site to assist with any immediate needs. Parking is convenient and spacious, and the entrance is cozy, compact, and designed to make visitors and residents feel right at home. One unique feature I loved was the sunlit central courtyard—an ideal space for residents to relax and enjoy natural sunlight throughout the day. They also offer helpful support for things like document processing, which shows their commitment to both comfort and practicality. Overall, a very pleasant and thoughtful facility—I truly enjoyed my visit. Thank you for the warm hospitality! Mary Musa, Notary PUblic,On Spot MObile Notary,Cypress, Texas
