Wonderful and loving nursing staff. Grate rehab program
My mom has been at this facility for approximately 3 years. The staff is phenomenal each staffing personnel greets me with a smile. They provide activities, play games and artwork to keep the residence, active and busy. The dietitian presents their meals with interest In hopes, it captures the residence taste buds.
I thoroughly enjoy the staff and residents .
Cannot say enough about this place. The staff is amazing, caring, attentive, I would seriously recommend this place to anyone.
My brother has been at Dogwood for over 6 months now. All i can say is good about the place. I visit my brother 2-3 times a week and the care has been excellent. The nurses are excellent and caring and his room clean and sterile. I'm very happy with the care and compassion there.
Speaking with Jo Barton I believe was her name, she was extremely rude, I was embarrassed by how she spoke to me. I don’t think a place like this is where you should work if you don’t have the decency to act right and treat people with kindness. Would NOT recommend.
My mom was a resident at Dogwood Trails Manor for almost 5 years. She had dementia. The entire staff was awesome with Mom. The administrative staff were courteous, the facility was always clean, the social calendar was always creative. The nursing staff from CNA's, LVN's and RN's were knowledgeable about Mom and I truly believed they loved her. She felt loved. When Mom was in hospital her nurses all commented that who ever had been taking care of Mom had done an awesome job. Highly recommend this facility.
Dogwood needs to train staff on how to deal with Dimentia patients. Some of the staff need to not talk about how they dont make enough money to put up with patients bs. Communication with families would be a great asset to this facility. I have no good thoughts of this place, i would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. My mom died here and they would not let me know, all i was told is that they were sending her to the er to get checked out. this is in response to the companies reply to me, i talked to the District Director he was supposed to call me back and he never did i also spoke to Melody in the Dallas office, i have spoke to James which is the administrator at the facility, your company does not care about the patients nor the families that bring the patients to the facility. My mother was over medicated by your nurse Sherry and James and Angel (D.ON) admitted to me that Sherry is the nurse that over medicated my mother which is where she became mute and was not able to talk after that situation then all of the other issues. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST PLACE TO BE CALLED A NURSING HOME.
