Elison Park is now named Kings Reserve Willowbrook. It is under new ownership and property management. The new owners did away with all of the amenities that my mom required (dining, transportation, housekeeping, 24/7 front desk...etc., so she ended up moving to Windermere Estates. Kings Reserve Willowbrook is now advertised as an "active seniors" facility and no longer caters to those with major disabilities.

Join the activities regularly and watch your surroundings when leaving the facilities. The area isn't the best crime wise, but seems safe enough if your watchful. You can always ask the security to escort you to your car as well.

Ownership changes often; breach of contract. I would not recommend to others. I was attracted to them because it was my first time to move to a 55&up. Close to my preferred shopping business.

Moved my mother in and a week later they announced they were sold and would no longer offer any of the amenities that made it attractive to my mother. Still trying to get deposits back and hopefully additional compensation for pain and suffering experienced having to move twice in a month

We went and viewed this property for my 85 year old father. Everything looked wonderful. Apartment was nice size and decent price. Meals, housecleaning and transportation to doctors/groceries, etc were included. Less then 2 months after he moved in, we got a notice that they were changing management, and all of the services were going to be taken away. They also are trying to charge my dad the same amount for for rent, even though it no longer includes meals, housekeeping, etc. I am very disappointed as there should have been transparency in what was going on. My Dad needs these services and now we have the cost of moving him again after just 2 months. I should only give 1 star, but I gave 2 because up until now the people that worked there have been wonderful in helping my dad. Now, they don't do that anymore.

The staff has gone out of there way to help me come to Elison Park. The staff has a good understanding of what a Sr. goes through in downsizing from a home. I like the community that offers a open feeling and caring. The staff all knows your name and is happy to see you. There activities include Happy Birthday parties with cake with sing along of Happy Birthday wishes. There is also Live entertainment throughout the week. There are movies that the residents may watch after dinner in the Community Room and ice cream socials that a Resident may participate in and many more activities. On Sunday there is a Non Denomational Church service. There is a billards room that I find challenging and TV set to watch favorite shows and to socialize while playing a friendly game of Pool. There is an on-site store that has many items in stock including Bluebell Ice-cream. So if you have forgotten something at your local grocery store, Our Store, just might have it in stock. Wish they had assiste

My mom loves it there. The residents and staff are very friendly. The food is mostly good. My mom has made friends there and she loves going to the art classes.

Everything is a 5 except the food and the activities. I buy my own food and eat in my apartment. There are just one or two things as far as activities that I participate in. Everyone including staff and residents are very friendly and always willing to help you out with whatever you may need. Apartments are roomy. I am in a 1 bedroom and have plenty of room.
