Great facility. My husbands care was top notch. Director was helpful and kind. Only thing was housekeeping didn’t sweep .

If you value great care and prompt responses, do not put your loved one here. We had our LO here for only 3 days before he passed and more than one of the nurses needs to consider a career change. It looks beautiful but is definitely lacking in the important things.

I want to take a moment to recognize the amazing staff at 5 Points Nursing Home who have truly made a difference in my mom’s care. First, Christian (Director) has been solid from day one. He’s honest, reliable, and follows through on everything I’ve ever asked. That kind of leadership matters, and it shows. Amber, the Activities Director, is absolutely incredible. Her energy, her love for the residents, and how involved she is… you can tell this isn’t just a job for her. She goes above and beyond, even making sure my mom’s monthly needs are taken care of. She’s truly one of a kind. Jaime, the…

Jaime, the Charge Nurse, deserves major respect as well. My mom had a stroke and struggles to communicate, but Jaime takes the time to understand her. She makes sure all of her medical needs are handled, and anytime we need something, she gets it done. That peace of mind means everything. The facility itself is clean, and the food is good. Overall, during the weekdays, the care and attention are exactly what you would hope for. Now, I do want to be honest about one concern. On the weekends, there’s a noticeable drop in quality. It often feels understaffed or less attentive. Floors aren’t as clean, it’s harder to find staff, and some residents don’t look as well cared for. I understand student nurses are part of the process, and that’s expected—but the weekend nursing staff needs to step it up. There’s too much standing around and not enough attention to detail. I’m giving this review because I truly see the potential here. The weekday team proves what this place is capable of. If that same level of care carried into the weekends, this would easily be a top-tier facility. Thank you to the staff who show up and truly care—you don’t go unnoticed.

Thank you Jamie Vine RN!! Because of you and your care our mom is walking, talking, texting, and returning to the mom we knew before! Thank you for speaking with the doctor and getting the ball rolling for a change in meds. You will always hold a place in my ❤️. Thank you for the job you do, and the care you give to mom and others. May God bless you and all those you love.

At first glance its all good but when ever my grandma was there she was was neglected and they left her in shitty pull ups for hours. The nurse JAMIE is rude disrespectful and condescending. Not just to the residents but family as well. Another resident fell hard in the hall way, she picked herself up and had to ask the nurses if she could go to the hospital. They didnt offer . I seen that with my own eyes. One day after all this I wanted to see what would happen if they couldn't find my grandma. So I came picked her up and we had a day came back and the only person who was looking for her was the activity lady amber ! ( amber is the absolute best) but not a nurse no one said anything. Its sad . And the night crew is 10x worse My grandma is now back at home safe!

Very nice staff beautiful place very clean and my friend's mom likes it there she said they treat her very well

I got to tour this facility. It was great. Amber is great with the resident!!!

I had the opportunity to tour Five Points on behalf of a family member here in Amarillo. Overall, I was very impressed with the facility’s cleanliness and the staff’s level of engagement with residents. Everyone I encountered was welcoming and professional, creating a warm and positive environment. During the tour, I was provided with thorough and helpful information, which made the experience both informative and reassuring. I also noted a well-organized and engaging activities program displayed within the facility. Based on my visit, I would confidently recommend Five Points to families seeking quality long-term care or rehabilitation services for their loved ones.
