I have a certian level of appreciation for Five Points having a medical and mental health background myself. Any issues or concerns that I've had, has been addressed and adjustment have been made to better serve my uncle. I like how you have easy access to the caseworker/administrators and to answer your questions. Also they are really good communicators and follow up in a timely manner.
My mother has been at this facility for a while now, and overall, we have had a positive experience. What matters most to me is that my mother seems happy, comfortable, and enjoys being there. Knowing that she feels at home gives me a sense of comfort and peace. I truly appreciate the staff members who take the time to show kindness, patience, and compassion toward my mother and the other residents. Caring for our loved ones is such an important responsibility, and the kindness shown to them means more to families than people may realize. I especially want to recognize Monalisa in Admissions.…
I especially want to recognize Monalisa in Admissions. She has been absolutely wonderful and truly a breath of fresh air. She is always kind, welcoming, and willing to answer any questions or concerns I may have. I sincerely appreciate her patience, helpfulness, and the kindness she has shown me and my family. No place is perfect, but I am thankful that my mother is comfortable, seems to be doing well, and is surrounded by people who care.
Monalisa-the admissions coordinator is amazing and so personable. Chris and Ugo are the best CNAs, they are always so positive and help brighten anyone’s mood. Everyone works hard to keep the patients happy and safe. The social worker Angie is so helpful to connect the many dots of providing care. Festus is an excellent nurse who is always professional, patient and caring. My parents enjoy the food and the kitchen and care staff are accommodating to their needs.
Words cannot express how much we love and appreciate the wonderful people at 5 Points of Pflugerville. They walked each family member through every process of the disease of Dementia that took my husband. We were loved and cared for and my husband was always nurtured through lol my bus the process until he passed away recently. Even in death they stayed with us encouraging my children and myself. The staff brought us food and water, came to give us breaks for lunch or dinner, and was more like family rather than staff. Thank you Mona Lisa. Thank you nurses and staff for loving us so well. You made our time with you bearable in such a time of sorrow. The Ables family
My mother has been at 5 points for 2 yrs and there is nothing but praise for Mona Lisa and the administration, nursing staff and director, aides, physical therapist, activity director and what would I do without the guidance and assistance of Angie the social worker. I highly recommend this facility and have.peace.of mind that my mom's being cared for as we did at home. We as family members should assist our loved ones whenever we have.time. No location is perfect. Even the most expensive and private facilities have mishaps. We're all human.
Monalisa was a great case manager who helped me transfer my family member into long term care. She works efficiently and gets things done. I also want to thank Rick C. LVN the charge nurse who was very professional and takes great responsibility in caring for my family.
Having a love one in a skilled nursing home will never be perfect but I have the utmost respect and appreciation for the Five Point team! Thank you for everything you do!! Couple shout outs. Monalisa, you are just awesome! You have been there from the beginning, our admission process, to adjusting to the facility and even on billing/accounting…you go above and beyond your title! Angie, thank you for maintaining your clear communication, scheduled care meetings and being the voice for my mom and I. Last, thank you to the medical team, med techs and the CNAs who are always taking care of my mom. Words can’t express my gratitude!
Overall this is a good spot. Needs some improvement to get a five. I will though give EMPLOYEE Mona Lisa a big 5 star she great. Always helpful and cares about the residents.
