Flatonia Healthcare Center

My mother has recently been admitted for therapy and I must say the staff treats her well and respectful. There are lot of activities for her. They also have a good therapy team and are trying to get her well to return home. There are many employees that are good friends so I know my mother will get the care and therapy she needs.

I had to go to this nursing home and pick up a package that had been delivered there by mistake by FedEx, but once I got to the nursing home and entered it, it is probably the cleanest smelling nursing home I have ever been in not with perfumes just with natural cleanliness. So the places very clean and everybody was very nice when I walked to the door handed me my package and I left but I just can't say enough about how clean this place was when I went in it. Keep up the great work. P.S my daughter had a package delivered there by mistake and had to go to the nursing home and pick it up, and she also stated to me, dad, I can't believe how clean that nursing home was when I went there and how good it smelled.

What I thought was gonna be a tough day for my wife, Having to put her mom in a nursing home. But upon arriving there maybe three or four staff members came out to the car to greet my mother-in-law before I even got her out the car. I wish I could remember all of their names, but each and every person that we encountered was so pleasant and so nice. immediately made her feel at home. thank you to the whole staff that we encountered this day. Definitely on the list for my mother

Kaley was so nice when she met me to give me a last minute tour of the memory care unit. The memory care wing was smaller than most places I toured, but I actually liked that because there aren’t blind spots. The wing was clean and the residents were interacting and seemed to be happy. The memory care unit provides quaint small rooms, a little outside area, and some small sitting areas. From what I was told, the activities directors keep the residents pretty enriched and are collaborative with the surrounding community, which is something that has been difficult to find in our searches. The staff that I met were all kind and personable. Our circumstances have changed otherwise we would have truly considered this facility to care for my grandpa. Please note that I only toured the facility and can’t speak to actual care and conditions long term.
