My aunt is at Franklin Park Boerne. I like that they have lots of activities for the residents. It seems to be clean, safe, and pretty. They also decorate for different seasons and things. I had Thanksgiving dinner there. I think the food assisted living is better than the food in memory care. However, I know that they're careful about their diets in memory care, like choking things, soft foods, and all that. I love her space. We decorated it for her. It's got lots of room. She is going to move into a space that's smaller because she is running out money. She has had long-term care, and…

My aunt is at Franklin Park Boerne. I like that they have lots of activities for the residents. It seems to be clean, safe, and pretty. They also decorate for different seasons and things. I had Thanksgiving dinner there. I think the food assisted living is better than the food in memory care. However, I know that they're careful about their diets in memory care, like choking things, soft foods, and all that. I love her space. We decorated it for her. It's got lots of room. She is going to move into a space that's smaller because she is running out money. She has had long-term care, and that's depleted. Her savings are depleted, too. They do housekeeping once a week, and they change your linens and all of that, so the staff is very good. However, part of the reason we are moving my aunt is because her rent went up close to $8,000 this month, and that's the second time it has raised since she has been there.

I enjoy working at Franklin Park Boerne. It is rewarding by caring for our residents.
When we toured Franklin Park Boerne, I met a lot of the staff members. They were wonderful and very professional. It was great all around; it was the best. The food was excellent. The rooms were beautiful. The place was very nice and very clean. Nothing at all was wrong except for the price. The price was high. My husband and I couldn't afford it, and if I went by myself, my husband couldn't afford the expense of living in the house. The hallways were very long and it would take a long time to get into the room.
After a lot of research and visiting several facilities, we felt like Franklin Park Boerne would best meet our needs. The staff has been fantastic, the food is great, there’s always things for residents to do and it’s a beautiful facility. I very highly recommend it to anyone considering an assisted living/ memory facility for their loved one.
