My father is a member at Friends. The place has been life changing for him and my mom. Members are encouraged to engage in a variety of activities throughout the day and to move from room to room. And the staff is always extremely helpful and welcoming. We've seen a tremendous improvement in his attitude, demeanor and cognition.

Friend's Place Adult Day Services in Richardson, Texas is an adult day program focused on people with Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias and memory concerns. The center offers daytime social and medical care, supervised by a licensed nurse on site, medication reminders or administration, assistance with transfers, toileting and oxygen monitoring, and a staff-to-member ratio reported as about 1:5. Meals and snacks are prepared on site and reviewed by a dietitian.
Daily life at the center includes twice-daily exercises, music and live entertainment, therapy dogs, arts and crafts, cognitive games and group activities. 5.0 · 28 reviewsFriends Place provides a warm, welcoming environment for your loved ones. A large variety of activities (bingo, zumba, crafts, music, word games) and a fresh hot lunch every day. The cirriculum and menus are planned around a yearly schedule not just a 4-8 week rotation. And I cannot say enough about the lovely staff and how supportive they are to family/caregivers, too. Thanks, Friends Place!! ❤️
