They have activities for the residents, games, bingo, home cooked meals, etc. On holidays they host family gatherings for all of the residents’ families with food and companionship, caroling at Christmas. My dad has been a resident here for 2 years with wonderful care. There is a feeling of family here. They are very compassionate and warm. They have activities for the residents, games, bingo, home cooked meals, etc. On holidays they host family gatherings for all of the residents’ families with food and companionship, caroling at Christmas. We are welcomed with the same kindness that the residents are given everyday. The home feels like visiting your grandparents, cozy, quiet and clean. It is very affordable considering the level of care compared to a nursing home. They stay on top of his medication and hygiene and he is treated with dignity and love. We could not ask for a better place for him.
Gratitude and thanks to Galway Meadows Care Home for their kind and compassionate care. The well trained staff is attentive to health concerns and always available. They are truly a happy second family with the residents. The home is attractive, nicely furnished and immaculately kept, in a quiet residential neighborhood. To recommend GMCH with only 5 stars allowed is not nearly enough praise. Thanks, too, to "A place for Mom" and [name removed] for help in finding Galway Meadows Care Home.
Our family had an in person tour with Galway Meadows and we felt there were some red flags, I felt my questions were dismissed and there were no clients out and about. One was in the bed and it was mid morning. It was clean, but more basic. Didn't see a lot of opportunities for interaction. And the only people there were the owners.

5 on all counts!!! Galway has been and are amazing! They treat my dad like he is family! They are knowledgeable, thorough, very intentional with assessment and care. As a registered nurse, I am very aware of what great care should be. This is a lost art across healthcare, but we have found it at Galway. Everyone has been respectful, warm, and diligent.
My husband was Galway's first resident. They treated him and all the other residents who moved in like family. The facility is clean and compliant with all safety and other guidelines. They are very vigilant to each person's individual needs. The always included me in every possible activity and decision.
When my mother was released from a re-hab center after a long hospital stay, we all thought she was nearing the end. We were so surprised when the care she received at Galway Meadows caused her to thrive! She is eating again, moving around the home easily and going on outings with a walker.She's doing so well we are taking her home soon. All thanks to the wonderful care from the employees at Galway. When and if she ever needs care again, Galway will be the first place we call.
My mother-in-law has lived here for over 2 years and they are truly the kindest, most loving staff you could ever hope for! They treat her like family and go above and beyond in taking care of her. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Galway Meadows!
