My husband has been in Juan’s care now for 10 months. The experience we have had at the Garden Ridge assisted living has truly been a five star. My husband is always clean, well fed and truly cared for. This season has been the hardest season of ours families life. But knowing my husband is being cared for in all ways, absolutely helps make this ending a lot more bearable. It is a home setting so we have been able to get to know the staff on a personal level.. we feel so blessed the door opened up for us to be able to have my husband here. A true blessing.

Our experience with The team at The Gardenridge Assisted Living has been very positive . They extend compassionate care to their patients and provide a homelike environment. The place is welcoming and inviting not only to their residents, but to their families and visitors. The nurses care for their patients as they would members of their own family. We highly recommend them for long or short term care.

For more than twelve years, I was the main caregiver for my mother while she lived with me at our home. It was a beautiful experience that I’ll never forget. At the end of her life, we had become sadly aware that we were not able to take care of my mother properly without help. At the end of her life, we had become sadly aware that we were not able to take care of my mother properly without help. Thank God for Juan and Norma Lopez and their entire staff and operations for stepping in during the most difficult times of our lives. They treated my mother with the highest respect and gave her love and attention that can only equate to being family members. The entire staff were so wonderful to my mother and kept her safe while away from home. The facility was always clean and need. They had activities for the residence to do and kept everyone happy. Please read this review with the understanding that if you have to make that hard decision of placement for a loved one, the Garden Ridge Senior Assisted Living facility would be your best choice for you and your family.

This facility is a very nice, clean and well maintained house where my mother has lived for the last year and a half. Even when they get new staff, everyone is pleasant and caring in their interactions with her and the family. They make sure her needs are met and alert us if there are any issues. The owners are there regularly and take an active role in making sure residents are well cared for.

I am the riverboat piano player I play in over 70 different care homes and I promise you this would be where I put my loved ones their attention to detail is unbelievable thx for all this family does when it comes to taking care of their resedence.

Great facility and very clean. The owners are very nice and pay attention to patient detail. Highly recommend and very reasonable pricing.

So very disappointed in this assisted living. At first everything was okay, then I saw a very HIGH turn over rate in staff. Staff DOES NOT speak English and owner is very defensive if you bring up concerns. My family member was not given his meds. ( and if staff wants to cover this up…. Then why did I pick up 3 unopened bottles of meds, and no these were not extra bottles) I have so many complaints about this place and the owner…. My family member fell out of bed leading to a black eye and cuts and bruises and I wasn’t even notified, apparently the bed rail was not put up. Patients complain about food, and heaven forbid if they ask for something then they are labeled “ difficult” and your monthly rate goes up past 5000./ month. Your loved ones deserve so much better than just stuck in a chair in front of the TV all day… then it’s off to bed. I found this place through my hospice lady whose father just happens to own Garden Ridge…. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST RED FLAG!!!!! Just because an assisted living place is clean does not mean it gives good care, they are more concerned with their place being clean than the care of their patients. My family member stood up for the first time ( in a new place) in a year at being at Garden Ridge and is being allowed to feed himself even if that means he makes a mess. Oh and if you sign a contract that says all payments are due by the first of every month ( which I pay ON TIME… due to my contract) they will change the date without notice and expect you to be a mind reader and know they want their money earlier. Then you are labeled difficult and states that you are complaining about your loved ones care. And they will complain that you have the wrong contract…. WELL WHOS FAULT IS THAT???? His Daughter (Hospice contact) does his book keeping. Yes, I still have ALL my emails noting as such!!!! There should be a rule that if you work for a HOSPICE company you cannot promote your family’s business. LOL … I GUESS IF YOU SAY “ J—-“ ( fathers name) instead of my father you’re really not promoting YOUR FAMILYS BUSINESS.

Great staff, food and owners. Best care EVER!
