4.5 · 23 reviewsWe highly recommend this place to people that need more help. We really appreciated the service and care for my relative that they gave them to help my cousin especially Ms [name removed] for always their every time .
There is no English speaking staff for the residents to be able to communicate. They only use translate on their phone, which does not help someone with dementia disabilities. I think there needs to be at least 1 English speaking caregiver for the residents and families to be able to communicate with. That's the only real issue at the house that I've seen. I've seen no activities there.
Garland. Serenity home is located in a peaceful neighborhood, conveniently located near I 30 and George Bush Freeway. The atmosphere is very homelike and pleasant with contemporary furnishings. The staff are hard-working and helpful. Meals are home cooked and the home is kept clean and tidy. If your loved one is needing a personal care home, I would definitely recommend considering this option. The owners are available and genuinely care about the residents too.

I visited a loved one, and I was very impressed with the care at Garland Serenity Home. The caregivers were very loving and patient with the residence.
Please be aware they are not licensed nor are they there in best interest of patients many times they yell help for employees to assist they totally ignore them they’re wana be Hispanics don’t understand the language itself I would never put love one in place like this staff is so disrespectful
Garland Serenity Home was a Godsend in a time of desperation. They treated our father with such respect and allowed him to die in a peaceful, loving manner. We couldn't have asked for a better place or team for him. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place for their loved ones.
It's a phenomenal place! I am so grateful for A Place for Moms referral. The facility is close to my home. [name removed] the owner is OCD like I am so you can imagine how clean it is. We joked about it when I met her. I knew she had to be because the facility was so clean. It light and bright. Remodeled and furnished well. My mom has her own private room with window. It's beyond clean organized. TV with all the streaming and calm and relaxing music . Tranquility. [name removed] and [name removed] are my moms caretakers and they are the absolute best there is. I have actually grown to love them because they take such great care of my Mom. I don't have to worry anymore if she's being changed or fed or someone is not being mean to her. They are like angels. That means there are two people always on duty. You can feel the genuine care. Home cooked meals 3x daily. [name removed] the owner introduced us to another phenomenal service team, [name removed] with Life Pointe Hospice. They offer additional services and immediate access to doctor no matter what time of day. I was hopeful she would have been able to get out of bed. But she had become so weak from the private pay people not getting her up. We were paying private pay at my Mom's home. It was horrific. My Mom lost a lot of weight. [name removed] arranged for mobile dentist , hair dresser to come and do her hair. Podiatrist. She has an extensive network. If she forcing have it she will find it. I hope that helps! They are a GOD SEND!
We toured Garland Serenity Home and the facility was okay. Overall, I would rate all at a 3 from our tour. We were just not impressed with the facility.
