What can I say about Georgia Manor. Well, let me start by addressing the obvious...yes, the building has seen better days and is in dire need of some replacements and upgrades. However, what it lacks in aesthetic appeal and modern furnishings, the staff and residents make up for a million times over. The building isn't large, so staff have opportunities to get to know and make genuine connections with residents and their loved ones. Whether it's residents or staff, everyone is treated and cared for like family.
They take good care of my mother in law
Pro: Visiting over the last few months, I’ve noticed some positive changes as far as staff members and patient care. The staff environment appears more positive and they are a lot more welcoming. The food is good and I see effort on the cleanliness and decor. Con: This building is a bit old and needs lots of maintenance and improvements. A staff member rubbed me the wrong way, I asked for my mother in law to be brought ice water and the girl rolled her eyes and blew her breath. Also noticed staff arguing about who was going to shower who… seemed to be arguing over caring for the other…

Few Bad weeds need to be removed Overall see a trying group and still have hopes for a 360 turn round
This facility has taken great strides in improving everything from patient care to housekeeping. The staff truly care for their residents and are striving for excellence in all aspects. Georgia Manor has a more personal feel to it than some of the bigger facilities which is refreshing.
I had a great experience with the staff I say that because they listen Liz is very passionate and understands the type of care the patients require and her staff follow that my uncle was homeless and they took him in I’ll be forever grateful
This is a small facility but its great because the staff treats the residents like family. Very nice facility with a friendly staff!
Will leave your loved one in urine soaked diapers, until your loved one is raw. The place doesn’t smell like a nursing home smells how it’s cared for and the cared for people in it (their not). Watched a nurse once aggressively yank a man in a wheelchair backwards away from the from door he almost fell forwards out and yell at him to get away from the door, a lot of the staff are ghetto speech impaired, if I could upload a video I would about how a loved one was “thrown” into the bed, even though they were mobile just slow. Impatient, could care less, upper management will hide from you and not return calls because of the known negligence. Awful place. They feed their people worse food then most do their dog. Your loved one will share a small room with someone they don’t know, no privacy and the whole place looks less homey than a prison. If you want your loved one dead, Georgia manor is for your loved one.
I always feel welcomed when I visit!
