I toured many places before choosing Grand Brook Allen for my dad. Unfortunately, he was with them a short few months before his passing. In that time, I experienced incredible support from Jeanine, the Executive Director, and witnessed such gentle kindness and care from all levels of staff. I was with my Dad 24/7 the last 5 days of his life and I was blown away by GB Allen. I could never have imagined people so invested in not only helping the residents but also the families. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We have tremendous gratitude for you.
Grand Brook MC Allen is a remarkable place for your loved one. We had the pleasure of being part of the GB family while our mom lived there for three years. They took great care of her, loved her as if she was their mother. It is family owned and the staff there is incredible. There is very low turnover of staff which is unheard of. Mom was always dressed as she would have if she could. She was very much a lady that was dressed and well kept when she was able to take care of herself and they made sure she remained the woman she had always been. Highly recommend this place. I never worried…

I was initially hesitant in putting my mom in any type of memory care facility. When visiting GrandBrook Allen, It was a calm environment and I could see my mom living here. The staff, and caregivers are fantastic, they genuinely care about your family and have treated my mom so well. I’ve seen my mom’s behavior change for the better and she tells me that she “Really likes it here and everyone is so nice.” It’s been a comforting and positive experience all the way around!
The care that they gave my 99 year old mother was excellent. She had several unique needs which the staff constantly worked with me on to take care of in the best ways. They were very professional, caring and loving. They keep the facility and residents very clean and well taken care of. I especially liked their approach of keeping the residents together throughout the day and engaged with many group activities. It was always heart warming to hear my mother and individual care givers saying “I Love You” to each other which was frequent. They truly treat the residents like family members. I highly recommend them.
I’ve been a CNA for 15 years, licensed with the state of Texas and I have never experienced/visited/worked in a facility like this one. I’ve also had a grandmother in memory care. Honestly, with all my experience in various settings, I have never seen such incredibly caring people ALL working together in such harmony. I just can’t stop thinking about it. From the staff dancing(professionally) with the residents who probably thought no one would ever dance with them again, to even the kitchen cheering residents on for finishing their meals.(“awesome clear your plate delicious meals”might I add)Every employee knew the mission. Every residents every need was somehow met. They all are very very good at what they do. The best I’ve ever seen. I would absolutely trust this facility with my loved ones -no question.
My mom is a new resident at Grand Brook in Allen. Director Jeanine was a huge help in facilitating my mom’s move and had everything ready to go upon her arrival. I have been especially moved by the one-on-one care my mom has received from Alina during the day and Amina at night. Working with elderly residents requires a special touch and both of these women have treated my mom with great care and respect.
The atmosphere here is amazing. We have served in many memory cares of our 20+ years in DFW and you can tangibly see and feel the difference here. From the ownership to the caregivers, they truly care about each resident. They are always engaging the residents and making them feel at home. Thank you for all your do to serve our community!
My experience as a student volunteer provided invaluable insights. I entered with preconceived notions, thinking the facility was a standard nursing home. However, I was deeply impressed by the staff’s genuine care and their ability to create a warm, home-like atmosphere for the residents. I had the privilege of assisting with entertainment alongside the amazing events coordinator, Britney, and observed the entire staff’s enthusiastic participation. I was particularly impressed by Director Janine’s efforts to personalize the space, notably the hallways filled with residents’ family photos, which fostered a strong sense of belonging. The entire team was incredibly welcoming and dedicated. Thanks for the opportunity.
