We are new assisted living home owners in Austin, and connecting with Apple at Happy Sunflower Cottage has been such a blessing for us. As new owners, we had so many questions — and Apple has been incredibly kind and generous in guiding us. She shared not only her experience, but also the real, day-to-day details of how to properly care for residents, manage a home, and build something meaningful. What impressed us the most is her heart. Apple truly cares about every resident, and it shows in everything she does. This is not just a business to her — it’s a calling. From one owner to another, we can confidently say she sets a very high standard for residential assisted living. Any family would be in great hands at Happy Sunflower Cottage.
We love and appreciate the special care and love that mom gets at Happy Sunflower Cottage. We have peace knowing mom’s food and needs are specifically met by Apple and her special care givers. We feel blessed that we discovered her new facility.

They will be given love and kindness. God has truly blessed this area with a facility and business owner like Apple.

The food Good exactly caregiver
The staff at sunflower cottage Sherman are professional, very friendly. I feel like I'm part of a warm community family. Always helpful and finding ways to make us happy. We were greeted warmly by Apple as soon as we entered the faculty. She was warm, friendly and welcoming making you feel at home. She takes on the resident as if he were her own family member. They change the bed sheets everyday. They cook very delicious meals. She understands the complexity caring for elderly people and individualizes their care to maximize that person's quality of life. It’s truly the best place for the elderly!
We’ve toured more than 20 large senior living facilities, and this is the first one that truly felt like home. It’s a small, family-style place filled with warmth and genuine care. You can tell the owner has put a lot of heart into every detail to make residents feel loved and comfortable. I honestly thought to myself — this is the kind of place I’d love to grow old in someday.
The owner’s genuine care and dedication to supporting seniors shine through in every detail. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and truly feels like home.
