The staff at Hays Rehab have been very kind, compassionate and respectful to my father in law and to us while we are visiting. The PT/OT and nursing staff have been very helpful when we have questions and concerns about his improvement. Malia helped us make the transition process from another facility he was at to Hays Rehab stress free and then came by to check on him once he was transferred. The activities they have for the residents and rehab patients are great. My father in law has enjoyed the bingo games and meeting some of the other residents.
The staff did an exceptional job in caring for my loved one. Celeste, Crystal and Minerva are a few names to mention. They were a ray of sunshine. The physical therapist were just amazing as well. There are too many names to list. Thank you for your care everyone!
Absolutely love the vibe here! The staff are caring, attentive, and treat patients with genuine compassion and respect. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and feels like a true community. You can tell everyone goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care. While we hope we won't need skilled nursing care again, but if we ever do, this will be our first choice.
The place is awesome. The place is clean smells all the employees and faculty staff are awesome friendly they keep the residence happy Always have lots of activities for the residents-they go beyond. it’s the best in San Marcos, Texas come and check it out for yourself
I had a great morning with my mom who broke both arms and is needing PT. Everyone I have met has been positive, helpful and accommodating to our every need! What a fantastic staff and team they have!
My dad was placed here for short-term physical therapy. Within a week, he began declining, and I was repeatedly told to “accept his diagnosis” and that this was just who he was now. I didn’t accept that. I pushed for outside care, and thank God I did—because he is now back home, talking, laughing, and improving. If I had followed the guidance I was given at Hays Nursing, I believe the outcome could have been very different. The admin staff was kind and supportive, but the nursing side needs a full reset. Families: stay involved, advocate, and do not ignore your instincts.
did my clinicals here for my cna around November and i enjoyed every bit of it thank you hays for teaching us hands on experience 🙏
It was movie time!! Walked in to see my father in law out if his room.....in the TV / game room. He was watching a movie (Rated R) eating popcorn and drinking soda. Glad he was participating for a change. 😀
