Helping Haven Assisted Living in Haslet Texas has been a God send for my 93 yr old mother.She spent 2 weeks in the hospital and came out of there unable to walk, then went to rehab at the Lodge in Saginaw for 2 months where she declined cognitively and physically in a short amount of time! She came out of there needing 24/7 care. We were very fortunate to have found Helping Haven that really cares about their residents and keeps them active and engaged. Syreta, the owner is a nurse who has worked with seniors in nursing homes and seen how they are not given the kind of care to help them thrive; decided to open her own care homes where aging seniors are treated like family and with dignity and respect. Since living there, I have seen a big difference and improvement in my mother's mental alertness and physical mobility! She is even learning to walk with a walker again! If you are looking for a place for your aging parent, I would highly recommend Helping Haven Assisted Living where your parent will be loved and cared for like family and treated with dignity in their golden years. Also as another reviewer said, they are very good about keeping family informed and sending pictures and videos to me to see how my mother is participating in activities. Another plus is how clean they keep the home! You should definitely consider this Assisted Living for your loved one.

The community is very lucky to have this loving place, but also to have Syreeta. From the day that we met, she has always been so caring, kind-hearted and willing to go above and beyond for anyone. She is very goal-oriented, driven and has a beautiful passion to help others.
