Dad truly loved Hickory Terrace and thanked me many times for moving him there. The facility was always clean, and the entire staff was exceptional—caring, compassionate, and attentive. They consistently communicated with me and kept me informed. We toured several facilities in Lubbock, but none gave us the sense of comfort and peace of mind that Hickory Terrace did. I visited Dad at least once a day, at different times, and the quality of care was always consistent. I can’t say enough positive things about the staff and the facility.
I had been to Hickory Terrace for a tour. It was clean. They had an area in the front where people were being engaged in some activities, and I liked that. I like the rooms. I like the staff, too. The staff seemed friendly and sincere. They had an apartment that had the floor redone and painted, and that's where my mom is going to go. They just had some bad weather, so the front of it had a lot of leaves plastered to the building, but it just happened. In the apartment, they had a refrigerator and a sink.

We went to Hickory Terrace. We liked that it was small. The directors were very involved. It was a little bit more homey, and the residents seemed to really enjoy being together. There were two staff members who accommodated us. Both of them were very delightful and helpful.
Great place. Clean. Helpful. Courteous staff. My mother has been here for 4 yrs.
