My mother has been there for a couple of months. She suffered multiple strokes in February. The entire staff is great. They let me know if my mom needs anything on the days I don't visit. They've been extremely helpful with mom rehab. Staff is always friendly and polite. Would recommend Hico Nursing to anyone.
Not a good place for your loved ones or to work . Extremely unprofessional and toxic management . Residents are not cared for properly . Unsafe work and living environment for staff and residents . DON & ADON are the slumlords of nursing . Unsafe temperatures in resident rooms and halls all summer temps reaching almost 90 degrees on the halls and in rooms , they barely have snacks to eat for residents . It’s hard to tell these people there is nothing when they ask for it . It’s just gross and sad . Employees have to fight for every penny they get ,checks are always incorrect . Ticknor…

Ticknor enterprises is lacking big time . They don’t care about employees or residents . Your loved one is just a profit to them . Please find somewhere else for them to go . This place is NOT it . By far one of the worst places I have been to . Do your research people if you care about your family or career .

I am very pleased with the patience they have shown to my nephew who has been there 3 years now. He’s quite challenging with his many illnesses.
It's bad and rude to workers
My partner moved into Hico Nursing & Rehabilitation. It's very good. They come in and do exercise with him, even though it's not to rehab him, they're still getting his legs moving around, doing transitions, and they're still getting him busy.
My mom was loved and taken care of.
I cant understand how a nursing home thats job is to care for the residents there, doesn't care enough to make the disabled patient happy by not continuously deflecting them to talk to their loved ones.
