5.0 · 6 reviewsMy mother recently stayed at this home. The owners & staff took such good care of her in her final days. They were always so friendly, welcoming, caring, compassionate, & accommodating for family time (i.e. Mother's Day, grandson's birthday, etc.). They were also very communicative about Mom's status. We felt like that were part of our family. I would highly recommend this home for any family that wants a beautiful place for their family member to stay & be well taken cared of with a sense of home, respect, & privacy. We truly appreciate how they well they cared for Mom.
Hill Country Care Home was recommended to me by Jennifer with Advanced Senior Planning and Esther with LOLA. Rocio was very helpful with arrangements over the phone. Rocio and Carlos were very welcoming and made the transition very easy. My dad was able to stay comfortably in Hill Country Care Home for four nights; it is in a beautiful home, in a quiet and family friendly neighborhood. His caregiver, Dora, was very kind and communicated so well about his day with each visit or phone call and I could tell she was invested and genuinely cared about her patients, which was very comforting. Hill Country Care Home was recommended to me by Jennifer with Advanced Senior Planning and Esther with LOLA. Rocio was very helpful with arrangements over the phone. Rocio and Carlos were very welcoming and made the transition very easy. My dad was able to stay comfortably in Hill Country Care Home for four nights; it is in a beautiful home, in a quiet and family friendly neighborhood. His caregiver, Dora, was very kind and communicated so well about his day with each visit or phone call and I could tell she was invested and genuinely cared about her patients, which was very comforting. I would recommend Hill Country Care Home to any family in need of affordable, quality hospice/respite care from the private room and bathroom provided, meals offered, ease of working with the hospice team, to the experienced and nurturing caregivers. I am thankful for the comfort they provided my dad, and my sister and I, during this incredibly difficult time. I really appreciate them all.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hill Country Care Home LLC owner Rocio and her personal care team. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this was the right place for my husband. The home was spotless, warm, and welcoming. It’s located in a safe, peaceful neighborhood, and after meeting the live-in caregivers, I immediately felt a deep sense of comfort. I knew my husband would be in good hands. My husband stayed here for a month before he recently passed away. Unfortunately, we had a very difficult and chaotic experience with our hospice team and did not receive the care and support we should have. The owner of this facility Rocio advocated for us during an incredibly stressful time and brought calm and clarity when everything felt overwhelming. The care she and her team provided went far beyond my expectations. They treated my husband with dignity, compassion, and genuine love. I can honestly say that Rocio has a heart for what she does. Her knowledge of hospice caregiving and her willingness to go above and beyond make her an absolute blessing to families during one of the hardest times of their lives. She is truly an angel, and I will always be grateful for the care my husband received in her home and with her extraordinary live in caregivers, Dora, Gloria, Kathy and Assinet.

We could not have picked a more wonderful home for our mom. The love and care she received was amazing and the kindness and support we got from everyone while mom was in her last days was very appreciated by all 6 of her children. Knowing mom was safe and loved by the caregivers gave all of us a huge sense of relief.
Hill Country Care Home has been a wonderful place for my dad to live. The owners and staff are very caring and friendly, and are able to accommodate his various needs with Parkinson's dementia. The house itself is beautiful with a great view and is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. My dad really enjoys living there and I have peace knowing he is safe and taken care of.
Our dad, diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, has been a resident for almost 5 months now and we cannot say enough about the amazing care he has received. It has truly been a blessing for our entire family. The home itself is just that…a lovely home that feels like home. And not only is it a beautiful home, but it is clean, comfortable, private, spacious and well cared for. Our dad loves to enjoy the views and sunsets from the great room. But even more important than the state of the home are the people that work there. Rocio and Carlos truly understand the needs of their residents and their families. They, and their staff, are professional, responsive, proactive, respectful, accommodating, patient, kind, compassionate and just wonderful people to work with. From hygiene to meals to medication and more, we know our dad is in more than capable and caring hands. He laughs and smiles and banters with them. You feel how much they care for him and we all (especially Dad) just adore them back! So if you are struggling, like we did, to find a home where your loved one will be safe and deeply cared for, you may have just found the place. Our dad is treated like a member of the family. And for that we are so grateful.
