The activities director is a very positive individual and goes out of her way to ensure the residence, comfort and enjoyment.
I have a nice visit every month and my dogs love the place. A wonderful home environment.
We have enjoyed many of the nurses and staff at Hurst Plaza especially Caroline. She is very kind and compassionate. Also good at redirecting my husband.

Very clean, friendly staff, great working with family.
Some of the CNAs are extremely well qualified and caring, often going above and beyond the call of duty. By far the most outstanding is a lady named Maymelynn. She will do anything for you and often does more than she is asked. When many staff were unable to get here due to an ice storm, she picked up shift after shift to ensure that we were taken care of. In my mind she is the Wonder Woman of Hurst Plaza.
Hurst Plaza has a very caring staff. The attention given to the residents is amazing.
I had such a wonderful experience with Hurst Plaza Nursing and Rehab. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. Everyone—from the nurses to the front desk—was kind, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, comforting atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in creating a safe and pleasant environment for their residents. The care team goes above and beyond to ensure each person is treated with dignity and respect, and they are always willing to answer questions and provide updates. What stood out most was the level of personalized care. It never felt like a one-size-fits-all approach—every resident is truly seen and valued. I would absolutely recommend Hurst Plaza Nursing and Rehab to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be cared for like family.
