The staff and crew are really helpful and super quick. They gave us the info we needed, helped at every step and my relative is very happy here. My 20 year old son was helping us move in and kept saying he would move in there if he could with the setup of the place and all the fun stuff they do.

The staff is great, the neighbors are friendly and there’s plenty to keep us busy and entertained.

My mom lived here for 11 years and absolutely loved it!! The food is like a five star restaurant and they have many nice amenities.

I toured Independence Hill Retirement Community. It was very good, and it's a large place. There are people living in the big building, and then off to that, they have more or less what I would call apartments. That is where I would live and get the first floor. I have a dog, so it has a patio and a little fenced-in area for the dog. They have lots of activities going on all the time. I haven't eaten there yet, but the meals look good. They have a pool, which was another good reason for me to choose them because I love to swim. They have a lot of activities for exercising and bingo. You name it, they've got it. It's an active place.

Very affordable. More bang for your buck than other places we toured. Food is excellent. Friendly welcoming residents. Helpful staff.

My father was living alone, and I needed to find a place for him to transition due to some cognitive issues as well as safety. I didn’t know where to begin, but A Place for Mom was amazing and helped me to understand my options. They were thorough and also customized the options for me and my father. We decided on independence Hill in Stone Oak And I can only say that this place is a gift from God. The staff is amazing, the food is amazing, and there is a love and fellowship that I don’t feel in other facilities. I would highly recommend Independence Hill for independent living, assisted living, as well as the many options they have for their residents.

Independence Hill Retirement Community was very nice. We enjoyed the tour a lot, it was very informative and will help us make our decision in the future. I liked the living style arrangement. Everything wasn't all in one central building. I liked the outlying units that were more apartment-style. You enter your unit from the outside. The staff was excellent, very informative, friendly, knowledgeable, and just a very nice person. I really enjoyed her. It wasn't the most modern, up-to-date building, but they're working on it. They're in the process of updating the areas, but it was all clean and nice. They're getting there. I have visited some that were much more modern and up-to-date, but I liked Independence Hill better.

We have moved into Independence Hill Retirement Community. So far we like everything. I have no complaints. It's a very warm and welcoming community, and the accommodation is excellent. The staff is very nice. Everyone has a smile on their face, and they are most accommodating. I think the food is on par with the most industrial kitchens. It isn't fine French cooking, but it's good. It has a good variety, and we found it more than adequate. There are many different structures here from single-family homes to cottages. And in the main building, some apartments are accessible to the dining room and everything.
