The times I been there I seen this guy walking around like this

Discovery Village at the Dominion is a fantastic place for your loved ones to live. The staff is AMAZING. From the minute you walk in the door. The concierge team, dining room staff, nurses, med techs, the housekeepers, and the memory care givers all are extremely polite, courteous, and compassionate. I sincerely thank all of them for the care they provided for my parents

None answers the phone and it seems that they don't really help the residents that need more help.

My Mother lived there from July of 2018, fell at the facility in December, and was in rehab until the second week of March. We moved her back into what they told me would be the highest level of care, with a room next to the nurses station. I was told this was the best room due to the location next to a nurse. I later found out there’s only one nurse on staff for the entire facility, and that the station was never manned. Staff would walk by her room to check and see if she was ok, but I would still come by several times a week to make sure she was being taken care of, to visit with her, etc. Unfortunately my Mother passed away from a heart attack on April 9th, and I regret moving her back here. This facility has been sold to new corporate offices, and getting help closing out her account has been a nightmare. It’s now June 6th, and the corporate office doesn’t have information on my Mother, so I am still in limbo with no end in sight. It’s a “pretty” place on the outside, but dealing with the directors and staff here has been horrible. I am still heartbroken with grief and guilt, and simply want to advise people looking for care to please take this into consideration - if your loved one is unable to care for themselves, and have memory care issues, do careful research. If I could turn back the clock I would have kept her in my home and hired home health care.

My mother just moved in here. So far I am very impressed. The facility is clean and the staff seem very sweet. I'll update as needed.

I’m very impressed with the care of the staff... it’s a hard job but the levels of care that are provided to the seniors who live in this community is superior.

Wow highly impressive community.

My parents were residents of this facility and the care was marginal at best. There were some good people there but staffing by higher ups are a joke. Phone calls to their corporate office were handled promptly and the facility contacted immediately but NO RESULTS from the facility itself. We were paying in excess if 5k a month with an increased level of care for my father and the care plan was not followed. I had to live in the facility to assure my parents were getting everything they needed and quite frankly what we were paying for. My father had a medical emergency and pendant was pushed for help but no one came until the ambulance arrived which I HAD CALLED. Had I not been there my father would have died that day. Unfortunately my father passed away a week later. Not only did this place and management not send a representative to the service or wake but not a card or a flower or a phone call to my mother. They put on a GREAT show when showing you the property but what they represent at the tour is world's away from the service you get. We moved my mom out as fast as we could. NOT RECOMMENDED unless tour loved ones ate able to do EVERYTHING for themselves.
