My husband was in La Hacienda de Paz, after a fall, for physical therapy. The physical therapists are awesome, very caring and really wanted to help get him back on his feet. He made great progress. Everyone there was very helpful.

I keep getting phone calls from this place and every time I call back to see what it is they are calling me for the person answering keeps hanging up on me. I gave 1 star based on phone calls not on the facility itself.

This is from my purview as the provider of dentistry to this beautiful nursing and rehab facility. I had a visit today with my patients. Things in this arena are always very dynamic bc of the daily going ons of caring for these beautiful individuals. Their needs are great and varied. This is from my purview as the provider of dentistry to this beautiful nursing and rehab facility. I had a visit today with my patients. Things in this arena are always very dynamic bc of the daily going ons of caring for these beautiful individuals. Their needs are great and varied. I can honestly say that in my 25 yrs. of being a hospital dentist and a mobile dentist serving nursing facilities, this is one of the best that I have encountered. Today, Connie DON was very perfunct re in her communication with my team about the status of our patients. She also helps out with serving her patients their meals and filling their beverage glasses. Also Connie visits with her patients on the clinic floor and asks them what their needs are for the day as well as offering solutions for their concerns. This is not the norm. She goes above and beyond. Ms. Socorro was an absolute godsend today as she had our pts. meeting their appt. times with me in an extremely kind and effective manner. I like to refer to her kind nature and ability to plug in where she is needed by pts. as “ Un poquito de todo. “ ❤️ Ms. Socorro had a very good energy that is so very caring ❤️ I believe/know that today was a great visit. Thank you LVN Ms. Crystal who facilitated the visit as well. Adon too. I must also mention the gentleman in physical therapy with the salt and pepper hair. I cannot remember his name but he has been a constant during the time that I have been servicing this facility and also plugs in when he can to transport our patients so that my assistants and myself can transport a patient onto our mobile unit for treatment. It really does take a village. Teamwork makes the dream work.

If I can give less than one star I would. My aunt recently entered this facility and has only gotten worse by the day. I visited one weekend, went and asked to have a nurse come and change the bed sheets and my aunt as she had soiled herself. 10-20-30-40 minutes passed and no one ever showed up to clean her. I go in to check on her every other day and have noticed her clothes are the same. I have brought this up to various people there and have not seen any changes. She is elderly and suffers from a mental illness (she’s not crazy) like night staff makes her out to be, they are unprofessional and speak badly about patients. Please if you love your family DO NOT let these people care for them. We are gonna keep track on what is happening and plan to take her a story to who ever will listen to us, radio or TV news maybe even have other third parties involved if needed . Read the rest of the comments I’m not the only one. They take her hard earned money and can’t change her diaper, pretty sad.

My mom entered La Hacienda de Paz 8 months ago. She needed 24/7 care and some serious physical therapy from multiple fractures due to a fall. Facilities like this were new to me. I read several reviews of all 4 nursing homes in Eagle Pass and decided to go with Hacienda. That turned out to be the right choice. For starters Marbella at the front desk has explained all Medicare Medicaid policies very well to me. Thank you. Next is Physical Therapy. Thalia, John, Isael, and Eloisa These guys have performed magic. I know mom complains and can be rude but these guys will do the Occupational and Physical therapy on her religiously. It shows. A tremendous improvement on mom's mobility. Thank you The Nurses Yalitza, Myra, Sandra, Dariela, Socorro, Alejandra, Astrid, Amber,Linda, Mari-Sol,Felisha, Gerardo, there are several others but these folks i see on a regular basis. All have excellent bedside manners, competence, and provide for moms needs. Rachel provides room cleanliness and moments of conversation with mom that make mom's day. She will adjust window blinds to mom's liking and things like those that seem small but do so much for the person. I'm almost out of space so.... Connie,Leshay,Raquenette,Vanessa,Evette,Judy thank you! I know i misspelled some names, sorry. I also may have forgot to mention someone equally as important, i apologize for that as well. The kitchen staff is very polite and like clockwork. Pedro has been very helpful. Once again, Hats off to the P/T gang!!! Thank you guys for helping me transition into this new lifestyle caring for mom. With deep gratitude Raul Mello Will update in 6 months. Ps. The ambulatory transportation arranged by Evette has been phenomenal! Very polite, professional great guys. All appointments, on time!
