I was very impressed with the staff, food and the physical therapy department while my family member was a patient. I highly recommend this home!
I do not recommend leaving your loved ones at Lexington. My mother in law was there only a few hours and was completely neglected.
We love having mom at the Lexington!!! This place has taken the best care of her and we’ve tried several nursing homes!! Fantastic nurses, super clean, and the very best food for her. Couldn’t be more happy for her to be there!!
If we had left our mom there she'd have died! They missed her fluid retention causing her to go to hospital in ICU, and on the vent. She almost died! Though I think the staff may do their best, there isn't enough help for the patients. And the Dr(s) are obviously a joke. If you have loved ones there CHECK ON THEM!! Better yet, send them somewhere else.
Wonderful facility, great staff top to bottom, nurses and aides caring and supportive. Really thought the Physical Therapy staff top of the line. I was never treated better at any other medical facility. I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of help.
I would like to thank the staff for taking care of my Dad the last 20 days. Greatly appreciate all of you!!
When my mother became unable to communicate and immobile the administration at Lexington stated that she had to be moved immediately. We can not reason with my mother who has dementia. We were given no options. My mother at the end of life is currently over an hour away from her family. In a dark dirty stinky old facility where she's locked down with big scary men. Both male workers and patients. My 82 yr old mother is not safe. The administrators at Lexington do not care about my mother who they've been talking care of for years now. It's shameful how our elderly are treated. I'm devastated for my mother.
I want to take a moment to recommend and recognize Lexington Medical Lodge—what an unbelievable nursing home! The building is beautiful, and I hear the food is absolutely amazing. The entire staff, from the Nurses and all the 🥰Administration to the🥰 CNA's—and Frank, who handles transportation—and the maintenance team, are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and dedicated to their residents. It truly feels like one big family home. I’ve never pulled up to a nursing home and seen residents relaxing outside in rocking chairs—it’s such a heartwarming sight. And when you walk in, it even smells like Luby’s! I truly believe this is the best nursing home in Texas. Thank you to everyone there for all that you do. My dad is truly blessed to be a part of this wonderful place.❣️
