This nursing is one of the worst I have ever experienced. First my mother was almost assaulted by a working snatching my mom’s cell phone from her hand. Of the aides actually said no to my mother to change her. Finally we made the decision to bring her home and requested an additional week due to insurance transferring from nursing home to home and they flat out said no. Michelle Holden the administrator made so many promises on care plans and never held her end of the delivery. She is also the one who refused the additional week. Arianna, I know exactly who you are talking about and she is a Godless woman, and is mean for sport. I hope she reads this. She will meet the same fate. When anything comes out of her cruel forked tongue mouth is hard to believe she works with a religious home. There is no excuse for her insensitive poor behavior. I wish I didn't have to put a star at all. These are supposed to be people of God.
Speaking on behalf of my mother and our family experience; I can not articulate how amazing her rehabilitation has been here. From PT to the friendly CNA staff, my mother’s short-term rehabilitation plan exceeded everyone’s expectations. We’re grateful to have been referred here.
My mom was there for a short-term stay. The staff was so sweet and kind. When she admitted things were a little rocky but everything got smoothed out. my mom really enjoyed her private room. she didn't feel embarrassed when she received care because she didn't have a roommate. The rehab was so good. They always checked up on her and made sure that she had proper equipment. If we ever need another rehab we would definitely be choosing this facility.
I pray God forgives you all, for your poor service in his name🙏
My aunt was transferred from University Hospital’s ICU with terminal cancer to this center 3 months ago for hospice. The treatment from Day 1 was the worst. They have no compassion whatsoever for hospice patients. As my aunt’s medical power of attorney, I selected this center because it was the nearest to my home and I felt in doubt about it due to its single 5 star review. I still decided to give them a chance, I visited the place, it was clean, but never did I expect the heartless treatment we received. While in UHS ICU my aunt had electrodes connected to her head as she was being monitored for seizures, that left residue on her hair that was painful and time taking to have removed. She was also transferred in a hospital gown since she spent 3 painful weeks at the hospital before being sent to hospice. She was transferred on a Sunday night, by Monday morning I woke up and as I got her ready to take her for breakfast one of the superiors (an African-American lady) and in an incredibly rude manner stopped me and returned us to the room saying there was no way she’d sit to have breakfast with the nuns (this is a Catholic convent trying to expand in business by offering hospice) in this condition giving my aunt a distasteful look and mocking her hair. I reminded her that my aunt had just arrived the night prior and had just had her electrodes removed before being transferred and that’s why she had both the residue and a hospital gown. I came back to my room and called my daughter to bring some baby oil to help remove the residue. The night before I had been cramping terribly and I ended up staining my tights, I was wearing a dress so I just removed the tights and figured I’d solve that problem later. As I had my aunt still seated on the wheel chair I was behind her (with our backs to the open door) I began trying to remove her residue by applying the baby oil and she moaned in pain, it had been 3 long weeks of pain for her going through this pain and I just hugged her from behind and began crying uncontrollably wishing to take her pain away and suddenly again the same lady came from behind again in a rude and loud tone saying I wasn’t allowed to wear this dress around the nuns. I turned around in tears and let her know she had invaded our privacy, I was already working on taking the residue out, I’m trying to sooth my aunt’s pain and she’s worried about what my aunt is wearing, what I’m wearing, I’d think nuns would have more compassion than that. I did end up reporting it, one of this lady’s superiors was also rude saying, I’ve already addressed it, What do you want her to do?! To apologize?! (I actually recorded this entire meeting) it turned out my aunt was only their second hospice patient and they had no training whatsoever which is completely unacceptable. My aunt died 2 days later. My last days with her should have been memororable, peaceful. Instead we endured this terrible customer service. They pride themselves on saying they’re a 5 star hospice center. I can testify they’re not and they have long trainings ahead of them to get there. Hospice are your last days with your loved ones, a time of need of compassion, and all the help to be given. This establishment clearly failed.
