So happy to see my best friend in this place, they have good food, loving staff, and have protected my best friend from so much I can’t even begin to describe. Tammy has gone out of her way to take care of my Ruthie and I will appreciate her forever for all the love she has shown every resident and every visitor that comes in the door. This new administration is top-notch, God bless you, Tammy and thank you for all you do!
I have lived here about a year now and I can tell you this is true to my home. I love this place so much and especially all the new administration. We can always count on Tammy, David, Francis and everyone else to feed us love us, protect us and make sure that it all is well. Recently, one of our friends was being taken advantage of and they made sure to take care of our friend. I’m so glad that I’m here and I feel safe.
So glad to see my friend Ruth Ann being cared for and protected, thanks tammy and crew
I’ve lived here for 6 years, I love the staff, they are like family. Tammy, Frances, David, Michelle, & Trystan are all dolls. Tammy looks out for all of us like real family. I’m never going anywhere! Thank you to my Morada family for the support and love!
I would just like to share that the administration of morada Abilene is absolutely uncompromising in their quest for excellence. Tammy, Francis, David, Michelle, and Tristan have worked tirelessly to ensure that the property runs and everyone is cared for at the greatest level of competency. Tammy is tireless and her pursuit of excellent and healthcare, and making sure that every aspect of Morada is top notch. I would recommend anybody who is seeking an assistant living facility to aggressively choose Morada
Absolutely the worst decision we have ever made was to put my mom in Morada! They have not kept my mother clean and her room, as well as the whole place smells awful like urine! Friends would come to take my mom to lunch and have complained about how bad she smells. I put in a 30 day notice to move her and when I went to pick her up, they refused to let her leave with me and have had me criminally trespassed for absolutely no reason at all! I have always picked my mom up every week and now I can’t even go on the property. Tammy Young is the worst of the staff and claims to have my mother’s best interest at heart, but restricting her from seeing her family certainly is not in her best interest. Me and all of her grandchildren are her world and with her Alzheimer’s, she needs her family. I agree with several other of the reviews on here about serious financial issues, as well! They have been trying to draft way more than what we were supposed to be charged for months now and tacking on all kinds of false late fees! This place is the worst place ever! Please do not put your loved ones in here under any circumstances!!!
I live in morada at the moment and I just want to say that this is the best place to bring your family. I came from living in a nursing home that was horrible and this place has been like a five star resort. Everyone, from the housekeeping to the kitchen to the activities director to the main director Tammy, are so caring and put the people of this assisted Living first. It is one of the only places that accepts the Medicaid Star Plus waiver, as well. I am so lucky to have found such a good place to live. It is clean, it is comfortable, the food is amazing, the activities are fun, and the people are family. If you want your family to be loved and cared about, bring them to morada. --Christi
Warning please no not put your loved ones in this place. They are keeping my great grandmother and will not let us see her and keeping her hostage. They are extremely rude and does not keep people clean. The place smells bad and also extra charges you every month for no reason. We also got kicked out of morada for trying to take my grandma out. They also took her phone and is coaching her not to leave and she has dementia. But whenever we tried to take her out they will not let us. Also took her to the bank illegally and tried to change stuff into her name. Please do not put people in this place is a terrible place.
