What we like the most about Morada Cedar Hill is their staff is friendly and overall it is a beautiful community. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.
Cedar Hill has been great for my father. He's more social and active. His roommate needs help with everything, I mean everything. So he shouldn't be in a room with someone who doesn't in my opinion. And I live in Florida where we SPECIALIZE in elderly care.
My mom will move into Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living. I liked the staff, the location, the building, and everything about it. They provide a refrigerator and a microwave. The staff was wonderful, and there was a courtyard, like a picnic area.
We chose Morada Cedar Hill because we liked having a barber on site, the scheduled rides, and a doctor that makes visits - they are all great amenities!
Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living was nice and clean. The people are very helpful. It's a little older. The apartments were nice. I met a couple of the family members and they are very happy and very pleased with the facility. I walked through the dining area and it was clean. I liked the people. They seemed to care about their residents and even if you're coming in and asking questions, they're very informative. When you come in, there's the sitting area where people can sit and do games and all that stuff, as well as the dining room, and they are very conveniently located.
Most of the staff members were great. The only problems we ever had were with the night shift. If they would have hired more caring staff on the night shift, it may have been a better experience.
Unfortunately, my dad passed away on [date removed]. However, our experience at Morada Cedar Hill was great. They took very good care of my Dad while he was in their care. The facility was in a great location and only 5 minutes from my house. All of the staff were very loving, caring and friendly.
My mother is currently a resident at Morada Cedar Hill Assisted Living and Memory Care. Overall, it is a nice place, but my mother has level two care and regarding those who come to help her with extra care: toilet and shower needs (not the nursing staff), they are often lacking in their response and care.
