Donna and manager Ashley were amazing! This place just feels like home when you walk in! Staff care like they are family! Shout out to Joe for looking after my Father and being a shoulder to cry on
Nanaw’s Assisted Living Place in Denison, TX is truly a blessing. They took exceptional care of my father, and I will forever be grateful for the love, attention, and compassion he received. Donna, the owner, is truly God-sent—a kind, caring christian woman who is clearly in this business for the right reasons. She and her staff treated my father like family, and their dedication gave us peace of mind during a very emotional time. If you're searching for a safe, loving, and faith-filled home for your aging parent, look no further than Nanaw’s. This place is filled with heart.
Grandeur of the facilities may not compete with the most posh of facilities. However, the care is vastly superior. And no deposit or fee gouging whatsoever.
Personal care for elderly in nursing facility. Homey. Staff is wonderful. Patient and kind.
My dad was under their care from Dec 20 until his death Aug 21 which I had no input on placing my dad at this facility. The above review is spot on. There are no activities for the residents to do other than watch TV. There were only 2 employees at the facility each time I visited my dad. The quality of care is not what I expected for a small facility. Upon my dad's death, I requested partial reimbursement of the pmt made for Aug 21. The owner paid a portion of the overpmt but refused to pay the full amt owed for the overpmt. After 6 mths of trying to get the overpmt made, the owner refused to pay the remaining amt to close the issue. In Feb 22, the owner advised that that facility was the lowest priced in the area and that everyone already gets care for a lower price. So that is a savings for the client each month. The owner was not shy in asking for monthly pmts when you are a few day late but doesn't want to do the right thing and return an overpayment which was due.
This community is not clean or hygienic. Resident privacy is a joke. There is supposed to be no more than two residents per room and there were three in some of the rooms. They do not have enough staff. The community is not secure as anyone can walk in or out. This is a large home that has been converted. The carpet of a room had two large stains on it. The food was not balanced as they did not have fruits or vegetables. They do not offer any activities. Things have come up missing. The price is way over the top.
