Resident & family reviews
4.3 · 6 reviewsMy mother has been living here for about 3 years now. She has always received excellent care and attention from all of her caregivers and from all of the staff. They always let me know what is happening with her care and any needs she may have in a prompt manner. It takes a huge burden off of me and my family to know that she is in such a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I would highly recommend this home to anyone in need of help taking care of a loved one.
Suzanne definitely has a compassionate heart! She goes the extra mile to make sure that your parent or loved ones get the care and support needed. Thank you! I know my mom is in great hands with you!!!
Suzanne has the best heart! Be it personal or professional, she is amazing in any capacity. I’ve seen her love for the aging community and it’s incredibly touching, I’ve witnessed the care she puts into this home and business. I would trust her with my loved ones with no question.

This residential care home is perfectly named. It was lovingly developed by its director, who has great COMPASSION for people in general and specifically, seniors in need of assistance in their daily lives. Leading the development/management team is someone who I have known for years and her heart is for her community. Whether it's a service project for her church, her leadership role with CASA or caring for the residents of CLCH, Suzanne can be counted on to put others first. I knew Suzanne first through another of her entrepreneurial projects, one where she assists owners of distressed properties to maximize their income from homes which have turned into into a liability. Time after time I have observed her and her crew, through savvy financial advice and strategic renovation, literally save families from unimaginable financial ruin. Because we owned a real estate photography company, my husband and I have been in properties renovated by Suzanne and in the CLCH home itself. In every case, the quality of the project has been apparent and as well as the love Suzanne feels for the people she serves. I know Suzanne and the property so well, I am happy when I am given the opportunity to refer potential residents to her, as are others in my personal sphere of influence. Suzanne is a great resource for families and individuals who are faced with the challenge of moving a loved one into assisted living. From the first contact, Suzanne's primary concern is procuring the absolute best situation for everyone, whether that's her property or another. She is a genius at navigating the treacherous financial waters of the many government and private assistance agencies. When the time comes to make difficult decisions about those you love, there can be no better ally than Suzanne. There are many moving parts to manage and it can be quite confusing, but she'll do absolutely everything she can, every time. Unfortunately, there are situations for which she cannot create a solution, but even then, COMPASSION is her hallmark. As our population ages, the choices for care multiply. Residential Care Homes are a relatively new answer to the need for assisted living. If I had a loved one needing help with daily living, Compassionate Living Care Home would certainly be a favored option in my opinion.
Your best bet is to find another facility or other means of care. These people are only about their bottom line nothing else. The care takers themselves are angels but the administration are con artists. They threaten to evict your loved one AFTER deeply hiking up their fees (monthly sometimes weekly), & show up to your house unannounced claiming they don't have money personally to fill their gas tank after bleeding you for every penny you have. There is no 24/7 onsite nurses, DON, medical directors, or care coordination ( besides administering medicine; something anyone can do). After constant complaints from the administration about our loved one we found alternative care to transfer her to. Ironically admin turned around and won an Emmy for victim roleplay. She claimed to be blind sided when the new facility called for case notes & initiation of the transfer of care. They only wanted our loved one to stay because they hadn't secured new patients ($$$) and it would mean their meal ticket was leaving. They came to our house unannounced and told us she was being evicted while we were already transferring her to a new facility which we were lucky to have her get into within a week. The week hasn't even been completed and they are ready to kick her out... Now that they have new residents secured & ready to move in -- oh, & of course after they already received this weeks fees in full with no intention of paying us back for the overpayment. RUN! *UPDATE: Suzanne you get an encore nice try I'm the one that balances the money in my family so I know the exact racket you ran. You are a con artist w/ a ponzi scheme and try to intimidate people by showing up at their house unannounced with your husband. Knock it off! How sad! The staff are angels you however need Jesus! What kind of professional writes up a very vague contract on a napkin that leaves endless loopholes for her to get out of her responsibilities. We were your first clients and you fumbled at every yard! Interesting how the only person defending you had barely any reviews online. Let that do the talking.
