Resident & family reviews
4.5 · 25 reviewsI give them 4 stars due to the floor staff (nurses, aides, etc). As for policy and procedures, I give them 2 stars. Food is good, they keep the place very clean. Now if only I knew when today I am going home. That information would have gained the 5th star.
The facility was clean, but my son's stay was not pleasant due to the fact that he had a very bad flare up of IBS and was given nothing for the nausea, minimum medication for the intense diarrhea and stomach cramps and was not seen by the on call doctor for three days after repeated request. PT and OT was great, food grand facility was clean but patient care and concern lacked a lot when you got sick.
My sister in law has been at RNC for almost 2 years. After steadily declining in her health (physical and mental) condition for several years at an assisted living group home before coming to RNC, she has greatly improved under the care of RNC's staff and medical providers, especially in the last few months. They have helped her get better. They are trying to improve her condition and they're succeeding, obviously doing something very right in their care of her. The staff is kind and considerate toward the patients/residents. They renovated the entire facility during the last year or so,…

They renovated the entire facility during the last year or so, making it more comfortable, pleasant and spacious in its appearance and updating the group areas for the residents, and the patient rooms are improved too. They have kept us advised about the therapy and care they're providing her, and have answered whatever questions we've had. Bottom line: we are grateful to the Lord for guiding us to RNC for my sister-in-law and for her improvement, and recommend RNC highly.

I recently had the opportunity to tour Richardson Nursing & Rehab with Daniel Acosta, and I have to say, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews. However, my experience was completely different and very heartening. The staff here are some of the kindest and most compassionate nurses I have ever met. Throughout my visit, several team members warmly asked how my day was going, and each resident greeted me with a smile, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. I had some concerns about residents who wander, as my mother sometimes shows signs of wandering but hasn’t been diagnosed with dementia yet. I was pleased to learn that Richardson has a special program designed to support residents with these needs. I’m truly glad to be selecting Richardson Nursing & Rehab for the next steps in my mother’s care. Thank you to Daniel Acosta and the wonderful team for making us feel so comfortable and cared for!
Facility is amazing. The administrator Shelia had changed the building around. No smells and Ty improvements look amazing!
Some of the best Leadership I have seen!
Due to mother's illness I have visited a lot of facilities. This is by far the worst one that I've ever seen. I've been here almost an hour. The reception is I told her I that I was wondering if they do a tour she said, well, who's going to get the tour for you? I said I don't know, she said. Oh well and just let me walk around. I have been walking around for 45 minutes. No one has asked me why I'm here. No one I didn't give me a visitor pass or sticker. I've been in multiple rooms just to see it, reaps of urine and poop. The one of the nurses told me I asked her, Hey, is there a charge nurse here after I've been walking around for 30 minutes. She told me the supervisor left at 3 o'clock. I need to come back during the week, I said, no I wanna see how it goes on the weekend. So I've been here, almost 45 minutes to an hour. It reaps of urine, it reaps of poop. I wouldn't leave a stray dog or a stray cat in here, I am still walking around nobody has questioned me, I don't have a visitor sag, nothing I went on the other side of the hospital where it's supposed to be getting renovated, and I've taken pictures, I'll put those below. I've watched the staff in your With the patients, the residents that are here, it is absolutely deplorable.I wouldn't leave my straight dog.Or cat in this place? This is absolutely insane. The patients are wondering rendering around.Don't know what's going on.What's coming to them? What's out of them?It is absolutely deplorable. As soon as you walk through the hall, that's all you can smell is urine and pee and poop and lean. The carpets are filthy and nasty and it looks like they haven't been changed since the seventiesDue to mother's illness I have visited a lot of facilities. Shai and crew were so fun to work with! They have a spunky group of residents, and made volunteering a great experience! We’ll be back soon!
