Working alongside this facility as a hospice partner has been an incredible experience. Their team truly leads with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine love for their residents. Communication is excellent, concerns are addressed quickly, and you can see that the residents’ comfort, dignity, and quality of life are always a priority. Rock creek used to be One of, if not the best nursing home in the state. But now it's one of the worst. Here's why: 1...drastically under staffed 2...not an upbeat environment for staff....Noone is happy. 3...wages are way below average 4...patient hygiene is terrible with showers available once a week many months. 5...food, for the most part, is terrible. 6...only one transportation aid for 350+ residents 7...constant turnover of floor staff and administrative staff I have been here for 7 months and am sooo disapointed. The staff (that are hear) are wonderful for the most part, but they cant keep most of them. I hear these problems from every lucid resident. Its not only me.
